Using flexible jumper wires to repair broken circuit boards

I've demonstrated in other videos how relatively stiff, bare wire (such as the clipped off legs from electrical components, or at least that is what I set by for that purpose) can be soldered onto lifted tracks on printed circuit boards - that approach can be especially useful where a PCB has cracked or broken completely since that style of repair adds structural strength.
There will be times however where flexibility of the joint is more important or - as in the case demonstrated in this video - there is no "as- the-crow-flies" path between the two points you with the reconnect: in those situations making a shielded jumper connection is the best approach.
