Thanks so much. i was doing a take home test and could not figure out what I was doing wrong for over an hour. I made a mistake that sin^2(x) was 1/2(-cos(2x)). I forgot to include the 1/2(1-cos(2x))
4:11 i had this exact problem and i was stuck in that part because i did'n know i could do that (i mean use de reduction formula for cosine and multiply the angle by 2) How can i demostrate it?
idk like if theta is theta on the left side it will be theta on the right side so if its 2 times theta on the left side it would be 2 times theta on the right side they just multiplied 2 to theta on both sides
So what do you do if there is a coefficient infront of the sine? Here is an example... 5sin^2(x)cos^2(x) I cannot find help on what to do with the coefficent from any source.
@@Jimmy-nx8zh Thank you! I was not feeling super confident about this test at first, but the days of studying finally paid off and now I feel super confident. Problems that I struggled with are now super easy to me. It feels good!
@@erik.rodriguez no Daniel is right, it is awful lol. all that work, fairly boring and unhelpful, just to get an unclean answer ontop of it all sin^4x = 3/8 - 1/2cos2theta - 1/8cos4theta (ew)

You literally got me through college. THANK YOU!
I love these vids. You're very good at explaining your logic and all the steps
This guy is the best thing a student can ask for
You deserve so much more subs.
I am watching these because they’re so much better than my pre calculus professor. She doesn’t teach at all 💀
THE GOAT! I have been trying to figure this out for hours!

This video saved me! Thank you so much!
what's the point of even doing this?
it should be called "Power Expansion Formula"
Youll need it in calculus
I had my volume way up because of the quiet audio and then an ad came on and scared the shite out of me because it was so loud X3
rip
tedious
LOLOLOLOLOL
can proof [sin(theta)]^5 , [cos(theta)]^5 and [sin(theta)]^5 *[cos(theta)]^5 ?

How do you it if it’s cubed instead of to the fourth power?
You’re a genius
I've been saved once again 🙏

5sin^2(x)cos^2(x)
I cannot find help on what to do with the coefficent from any source.
you leave it there and distribute later
where did the ½ at 5:09 come from???
Distribution of 1/2 to (1 + cos(4@))
9:26 how did you get 1/8 ???? :(
I’m lost at 7:30. Why did this guy replace 1-cos2the into sin^2 2the??
bc cos^2x+sin^2x=1 from that -> 1-cos^2x=sin^2x
What will be the identity of sin^3theta ? Im searching it on internet
How did the negative(minus) become positive (plus)?
where
why is the one half squared but the squared outside the brackets stayed?
nevermind
where is 1/8 and 4theta came from? huhu
I got you to 1k likes great job 👏🏾
Grace ahead
when your lecture slides have no useful information in them with no viable examples this is the place to go
who else is watching cause finals is tomorrow
Ayyy you know wassup bro lol mine is tomorrow 😂
midterm in two days boooys. But I studied pretty hard, just reviewing everything to make sure I got my stuff together. Wishing for the best!
@@TheSpokenBanana Yooo good luck bro wish you nothing but the best kick that midterms ass!! :D

@@Jimmy-nx8zhI got my exam back, I made a 98! It's insane, I thought I at most made like an 80 or something!
Watching cuz my hw is due tonight and I don't understand anything ☺️
Thank you, but wtf is the point of this
watching this like 4hrs to exams 💀💀
thanks man
ay bruh what about odd power reduction
thanks
Finals tomorrow we might be cooked
ok, I just don’t understand why the fuck I’m learning this shit
awla
daym son, that a big chungus
awful video
it was nice and easy
