    Today we’ll be reviewing 6 of the most astounding, incredible studies in the history of hair loss research. Studies that haven’t gotten the attention they should, and which the public largely ignores. Partly because they weren’t sponsored and promoted by big pharma. Grab a seat and get some popcorn - today’s video is a real treat.

    So let’s get straight into it.
    The top 6 studies that pharmaceutical companies don’t want you to know about.
    Guys some of the results we’ll cover today are so insane, so unreal, you’d think I’m making it up.
    But it’s all peer-reviewed academic science, published in mainstream journals.
    And I’ve put links to all of them in the description.
    Here goes.
    BOTOX INJECTIONS CAN REVERSE HAIR LOSS
    Did you know that a couple of botox sessions are enough to produce hair regrowth comparable to finasteride?
    That’s what a group of Canadian doctors discovered in 2010, and they published their findings in the journal
    …of Plastic and Reconstructive surgery.
    Now wait a second. Before we look at the actual results, why on earth would botox reverse hair loss?
    That stuff is for wrinkles, right?
    Well that is true. Botox injections are usually given to sooth age-related wrinkles.
    But that is only a side effect of their biological effect, which is to relax muscles.
    And the doctors who conducted this study were motivated by the scalp tension theory of baldness.
    According to this idea, chronic tension in the scalp leads to a reduction in blood flow. Because of this reduced blood flow, the follicles become starved of oxygen and the nutrients they need to support a healthy hair growth cycle.
    The result? Progressive hair follicle miniaturization, and eventually baldness.
    By relaxing the scalp muscles, and I quote from the paper here: “botox loosens the scalp, reducing pressure on the perforating vasculature, thereby increasing blood flow and oxygen concentration. The enzymatic conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone is oxygen dependent. In low-oxygen environments, the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone is favored; whereas in high-oxygen environments, more testosterone is converted to estradiol”.
    So by loosening the scalp muscles, the injections were presumed to have a double effect: a) they increased blood flow to the scalp and b) they reduced the local conversion of testosterone to DHT.
    So let’s look at the results.
    40 men were recruited and completed the study. They were aged between 19 to 57 years old, and were all Norwood-Hamilton 2 to 4.

      where exactly should the botox injections be administered to reduce scalp tension .

  • @HansensUniverseT-A
    @HansensUniverseT-A Год назад +27

    I am just about 100 percent confident that scalp tension can be traced to hairloss directly, i know this personally as for whatever reason i developed a chronic tendency to activate the muscles in the back of my neck, pulling my scalp tight, over time it started getting really really bad, like someone literally pulling your hair back while having a tight band wrapped around your head, it was really uncomfortable and affected me greatly, fast forward a few months later and i started getting insane shedding, unusual for me as nothing else had changed, my hairline started getting thinner and less defined, and my temples started becoming more visible, i like having my blond hair a bit long but i had it cut at that time and my mother commented on my hair, i started freaking out, and the googling begun, ultimately after a while i started to massage and relax the muscles, fast forward a few more months and the shedding rate dramatically reduced, i would no longer find hair everywhere, fast forward to today, i am having a lot of these shorter hairs feeling like long stubble in my temple area, it appears that the hairs are now growing back and i also noticed my hair feels denser and healthier over all. I am convinced that scalp tension is affects hairloss.

      @@alexheise110 I'm a guy, i think it took roughly 7 to 9ish months before my hairline was as i remember it being, but it might have been longer, it has been a good while since and my hair hasn't changed since, but i do not have that horrible scalp discomfort either, i managed to stop chronically contracting the muscles that gave me that sensation of someone basically pulling my hair back, it was absolutely horrible, i also improved my posture when sitting, i no longer slouch with my head forward.

    • @HansensUniverseT-A
      @HansensUniverseT-A 11 месяцев назад +3

      @@ringtail1410 maybe, but isn't it strange how it would happen in that classic male hairloss pattern where the temples thinned out, meanwhile suffering from some sort of chronic scalp tension where i could only describe it as someone pulling my hair back, it would feel the worst in the front, since then i managed to stop doing it and my hair has grown back in was it used to be, it's stable.

      I don’t think it would. The best you can hope for is similar to results to minoxidil which will work by itself short term. But long term you will lose ground for sure as it’s just a growth booster and doesn’t target the cause of mpb. I’ve personally seen this with people. I seriously doubt derma rolling would be as effective as minoxidil even. Used in conjunction with another treatment will help though.

      People from this part of the UK owe it to the rest of us to change accents. But I have the cure to hair loss for you. Hair loss is caused by the muscles in the scalp zapping the area of hair. When you raise your eyebrows, or even worse pin them up, you flow a constant steam of tension into the scalp - this motion activates every muscle. Women zap themselves with excessive eyebrow movement too, but their head muscles aren't big enough to cause balding, but they do get enough tension from this for thinning. If you stop moving your eyebrows you'll stop balding. Try it for a few days and see. Look up photos of native Americans and see what you notice about their facial expressions + hair.
