Thank you so much for making reviews where you actually try out the product that you recommend to the audience. So many other channels just rattle off selling points that can easily be found online (usually the Amazon store page) and add no new input whatsoever.
Great reviews!!! Any of you using this type of chair for a nailtech job? I had a different kinds before ,the common chair (stools) aren’t good . I have a problem with my back and wondering if this kneeling chair would be good 🤔
Hi Pati! Trying out a kneeling chair can always be a great option! I'd suggest the first chair featured in this video, the Boss B248. It is on wheels and features some adjustments. The two Varier chairs won't give you as much mobility as a nail tech. Keep in mind a kneeling chair may or may not help your back issues, and they can also add more pressure to your knees. It is not a chair I would recommend sitting in for long periods at a time. -TK
For the Varier Variable Balans, is it not a problem that one can not set the height? I don't see how it can fit for every higer or lower table also of course depending on the body size. Any ideas?
I understand your reluctance without being able to try one. I am a regular user of the kneeling chairs, and have put good hours into all three in this video. Personally, I find the back rest to be more restrictive, and opt not to use it. The Variable Balans is my go to. The additional adjustments the ThatsIt provides is not worth the additional money, in my opinion. I am also on a height adjustable desk, and am 6'2, 185 lbs. I would check the return policy on wherever you are considering getting the chair prior to purchasing. I also will note, I recommend these as an addition to your existing seating, not a replacement. While some users, myself included, can sit in these all day, most find them to be shorter usage sitting chairs. Something to mix into your day to stay more active and change things up. NL
Kneeling :) They are not for everyone, it is a unique experience using them. We recommend pairing them with a normal office chair. Using only a kneeling chair will lead to discomfort.
So what's a good recommendation for a kneeling chair with adjustable height, wheel casters, and ability to sit long hours....for a price between your second and top choices? In the market for a kneeling chair...its time. //Bklyn👑
Unfortunately, I have not found a product that has met that criteria. You kinda need to pick and choose which of those matters most to you. For example, if you want the wheels and height adjustment, then you will probably sacrifice range of motion, which is a big factor in allowing you to use the chair for longer hours. If you want to sit for long hours, then you probably will need to go away from the wheels so that you can rock back and forth in the chair. -RB
One very very important thing. The feet must lie on the ground. As much as possible, Or if not, all the weight rests on the KNEES and this is just a disaster for your poor knees ...
No “office chair” without wheels or a height adjustment should even make it into the final list 🤷🏼♀️ I need to roll up to my desk, not gyrate my hips 🙄
Hi Melissa, For a list of office chairs, I would completely agree. Unfortunately, the most well designed kneeling chairs do not feature wheels or height adjustment. If wheels and height adjustment are the most important factors for you with your next chair, then I would probably avoid kneeling chairs and go with a standard ergonomic office chair. -RB
Value pricing is getting out of control. Those chairs cant be that expensive to produce. What we're really paying for is potentially getting out of pain. Even if they work, it just feels predatory.
Of course they aren't that expensive to produce. If they were, the company would have never gotten off the ground because they wouldn't be making any money. -Ryan
@@btodtv Duh? Obviously they need to make a profit. But selling a chair for 1,300 that costs maybe a couple hundred to make doesn’t make the brand accessible to the majority of the population. Yay elitism.
Agree tbh. Its a bit overkill for the application. Much better off just going with the standard version. You get almost all of the benefits for a fraction of the cost. -RB
The comment that the quality is lower because it comes out of china is a stereotype. It is simple way to say that it is low quality but not well informed.
We have brought in and tested close to 100 different office seating products. We have been selling office chairs for 15 years. We have toured manufacturing facilities in the US, Europe, Taiwan and China. We are very well informed on the topics that we talk about in our videos. -RB
this guy is a bit anti-china or something. every time he goes like this part is no good because it's from china. When he mentions other shortcomings that are not due to china, he doesn't mention where it's from. like "this chair doesn't have any adjustability, because it's designed in US". i have seen he does this in other videos as well.
This is a stigma that will certainly change with time. There was also a time where Americans distrusted the quality of Japanese goods. My parents came from a time where American cars were of significantly higher quality than Japanese cars, and even when Japanese cars caught up and surpassed American cars in quality, they continued to buy American based on past assumptions.

@Nuclear Snail Studios wow random place to see a RUclipsr I follow. Hello.
Kneeling chair vs ergonomic chaie.. which one to pick?
Which fabric would you recommend on the Thatsit chair? I have a tendency to itch from wool but I want something that can last
Q: Can wearing MiddleMgmt grade knee pads extend the comfort?

Are these chairs a good idea for a hernia and spondylolisthesis L5-S1?
Each persons needs will be different. I would ask a doctor how they would feel about your exact situation -GK
Very nice to have someone test those kinds of products, Thank you!
You're welcome! -RB
I had to do a double take when he said $1400 for that last one.

Ah yes now later you come to that point. Not sure it is then difficult to say if it fits
how can i know if i should get one with a back rest or not? i can't figure out which one would be better and I have nowhere to go test one out!

Can a backrest be added to the Boss b248?
