Imagine getting a streetpass in 2023.
I went to the Long Island Retro Gaming Convention this past summer and brought my 3ds. I got around 10 streetpass hits. Watching those Miis come in made me feel so alive
I can only imagine. I only get hits from my other 3ds

I always stop in no matter why I’m in NYC. Love this place.
That 2DS looks slick, I miss pocketable handhelds.
I bought one on the Facebook marketplace. It should arrive soon. However, I keep wondering if I should mod it or not. I looked at a guide and one of the steps told me to remove the SD card while it's still on. It's really suspicious.
@@samyb4566use the guide on the homebrew web page and use videos has visual guides only if necessary.
@@samyb4566 Don't know how risky or easy modding a 3DS/2DS is, I imagine it will be the only way to play its games with all of their patches and DLC without resorting to emulation. Nintendo should have kept online services for it longer, Microsoft STILL has a lot of the online functionality for the Xbox 360 up and running. Specially frustrating that Nintendo is super crotchety when it comes to porting their legacy software. You'd think access to their old games would be made easier thanks to their commitment to physical media. But said physical media doesn't have the latest version of the game.
@@samyb4566it's very safe and easy to mod. Just follow official guide and NOT a youtube tutorial.

Doug Bowser was there at the midnight release of Wonder, which was pretty cool... because after 3 or more visits to the store, the excitement of being surrounded by neat Nintendo merch and history starts to wane. It's also still a shop, so not the best spot to relax and goof around unlike clubrooms or some libraries.
So sad the cool nintendo section at EB Melbourne CBD closed down 😢, had a really cool area

Visited NYC over the summer and this store was #1 on my to do list
