One of the best examples of the revival drive I've seen so far. Even Mick and Dan of "That pedal show" fell short on demoing this pedal---Good job brother!
I’ve seen about 7 different demos of this pedal so far, all good, but this one really did give me a better idea of tones and how the knobs affect them. Thank you.
Exceptional video with plenty of examples - indispensable when learning the RevivalDRIVE parameters. Thank you! EDIT: after watching dozens of reviews of the RevivalDRIVE, I can confidently say this is the one you need to watch to fully appreciate what that pedal offers. CONGRATS!
Electric Mojo Guitars You are most welcome; this is the video that Origin Effects should have done; I feel that other YT reviewers felt more inclined to talking about the pedal instead of delving into the settings and shaping the tone in a musical context. That is why I find your video highly educational - totally hands-on with play-along sonic samples. I can now say that the RevivalDRIVE is actually a straightforward pedal to use when you have someone demonstrating the nuanced settings. I am totally sold! Oh, and I subbed.
(Very) late to the party. Excellent sound setting examples and playing. However, what was the signal path? Into your DAW direct with some amp sims? Via a modeller? Into a mic’d amp out of sight?
I think they'd be a good pairing. The RevivalDRIVE would give you some added control over your tone, etc. You should shape things a bunch of different ways with this pair.
Jump around to specific parts:
00:00 - Telecaster on the Valve Rectifier channel with no Negative Feedback (think VOX AC30, Fender Tweed).
01:18 - The Allman Brothers - Revival.
03:37 - Clean sound.
03:50 - Silicon Rectifier walkthrough.
06:43 - Exploring the More|Pres knob and Negative Feedback.
09:47 - Ghost Notes.
10:26 - Valve Rectifier walkthrough.
11:48 - Bright Caps.
12:17 - Preamps.
13:08 - Using the Footswitch (Mid Boost and Blend Override).
2:39 That lick !!!

Exceptional demo, guys! You've really shown off the wide range of sounds inside this pedal 👍
Awesome. I'm happy to read that. Thanks!
That is serious tele tone
Thanks! Glad you liked the demo!

Thanks! This one was filmed a while ago, but I think Stu's was plugged into a Deluxe Reverb :)
Howdy, awesome demo! Question: do you think this negates/trumps/replaces the amp side of the Iridium, or could they be a good pairing?

now plug it into your sr71 and let me know what you think after you run them infront of your amp
