The Nestle crunch is definitely crisped rice but the North American variants are made under license by Ferrero while the rest of the world they’re made by nestle so maybe they taste different 🤷♂️
I can’t agree with the Hershey comment unfortunately. High in sugar, lots of cheaper ingredients like high fructose corn syrup, less cocoa solids, more sugar & a whole host of artificial additives. Plus that butryic acid they add is unbelievably sickly.
But I guess that’s the best thing about chocolate, everyone’s got their favourite 😄

I ate more than my share of candy growing up, but Eat-More and Mr. Big alluded me. Maybe they weren’t sold in the U.S.?
Candy bars have definitely gotten smaller over the years. I remember buying based on size rather than flavor some times. We had to make those nickels and dimes count!

Love the peanut butter cups frozen. Aero bar looks fresher- Mirage bar choc looks old. Almond Joy still around- had one yesterday. Mounds is still around too- that has no almond on top more like the Bounty
The Mirage bar looked old coz we had a bit of a heat wave and I had to keep these bars in my fridge for a few weeks until I recorded this video...thanks for sharing and for tuning in Jerzeegrl....;)_

One thing I’ve noticed with the majority of American chocolate is that it’s not glossy like the chocolate here in the uk.

Brit here, first time I had Hersheys chocolate I wretched - it’s because the recipe uses some chemical that is found in baby vomit! Which might explain that sour taste you mentioned!
