This is so funny to me, Mark. When I was in high school I used to go over to hang out at friends' places a lot. The one I went to the most was my friend Bryan. I was over there so much. We used to play board games like Axis and Allies, and they could last 6 hours at a time, easy. Anyway, his parents would always go to McDonald's and get us food. I was a guest, and my folks raised me well, so I would always order small. It's just polite, but at the the same time I was 16 and could eat a horse. My friend Bryan's dad would always get me what he himself got, and that is your go-to. Big Mac and filet o fish. I was happier than a pig in shit every time. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. :)

I too quit smoking only 22 yrs ago. I was stupid & stubborn! Thanks to my grandson who totally embarrassed me in a store (he was 5 yrs old then) as I was going up to purchase a pack he put his little hands on my back and tried to start pushing me past the counter saying very loudly, " NO GAMMA, NO CIGGIES! THEY NOT GOOD FOR YOU!" As people laughed and said, "That's right young man, you tell your grammy!". Well, what could I do? I promised him I wouldn't smoke anymore, but told him it's gonna be tough on him cause he was staying with me that weekend and he'd have to suffer the withdrawal effects with me too. He said it's okay! There was silence in the car for about 5 minutes ~ then his little voice popped up and said, " Hey Gamma - - - what's withdrawal?" Love that little guy who's now 27 yrs old and thank him often for his act of love ❤.
I think we sometimes make the best and healthiest decisions with our children or grand children in mind. So glad you were able to quit, for me it was one of the hardest things to do. Thanks for tuning in Sweet Phantasy, always enjoy hearing from you my friend......:)

I was able to quit for a period of 3 months “cold turkey” as they say, and at the time it seemed easy, so I figured I could buy a pack and then quit when I wanted. Unfortunately that is not the case for me and I’m realizing how much of a challenge it is to quit for good. To me it is like a grieving process because I’ve practically had a relationship with cigarettes for over 20 years now. Thanks for sharing your experience and I also want to mention how much I enjoy this channel. I have been following for a few months and it has quickly become one of my most watched channels. The Popeye’s and pasta videos are my favorite and I’m hoping you do a breakfast one soon like eggs, breakfast meats and hash browns or an English style. All of your videos are great though and can’t wait until the next!

I looked up the name of the city where the farm was it’s spelled Coronach Saskatchewan, Canada. Looking at the map it’s not far from the city you mentioned before called Big Beaver.
Thats right and Buffalo Gap is right in between both of them but none of these places are cities. I visited Buffalo Gap in 2015 and there is one couple still living there, my childhood friend Jimmy and his wife and dog. Coronach and Big Beaver are small towns still in existence. Warren Zevon mentions Big Beaver in a song he wrote called "Hit somebody ( The Hockey song)"....lol.....thanks for tuning in my awesome friend....:)

Mark are you kidding me ?? You commented back to me once that we could have been twins separated at the hospital because our music life and pot smoking life being identical. Now this!! Smoking. I to stated early when I was 10 years old in 1971. Went through exactly what you did. I smoked Export A in the green pack but they had to be the regular size. Kink size was for older people. . I smoked Export A for about 20 years and then a few years of Craven M the menthol smokes and from there I went to Matinee in the yellow pack.. I quite at least 75 times in my life and for good in 1995. My dad used to smoke Peter Jackson and my brother smoked Export Plain. My bic lighter worked for both ... lighting up a smoke and open a beer bottle before the twist off cap days. Funny story when we were young we used to steel tobacco from my uncles Vouge tin and some papers to roll a smoke. Trouble is we couldn't roll very good so we used the first paper to keep the Tabacco together and the second paper was used to tighten it up. Just about died smoking all that paper and it taste like shit but we were cool. Keep the stories coming brother !!

Never enjoyed smoking even when I tried it. I've tried nicotine gum, snus, cigarettes, cigars... Always just felt a bit woozy and nauseous and didn't enjoy the cigar taste even though I thought it would make a "cool" hobby.. Hah. I guess I should be glad nicotine never worked for me. :)
I only started coz I thought it was cool and it was something grownups did. Once I started I loved it and had a hard time quitting. Thanks for tuning in Mikko.....:)

Hi David, when I quit I had developed a cold then a secondary lung infection....that made it easier for me to quit but also I was motivated by being a new dad at the time. it is not easy so all I can suggest is just stop smoking but reward yourself after a week, then after a month etc. I found rewards to be a great incentive. Good luck my friend....:)
Why a small coke? Wouldn't the food dry your mouth up and not enough drink to wash it away with? I wasn't even sure you can in a meal get a medium meal with a small coke?
