Hi Mrs. Chris. It's so wonderful to see & your daughter in the kitchen together. She looks just like you. Very beautiful. Like mother like daughter. Now I'm an old school cook & I do know how to make cornbread, but your daughter's cornbread I will be making from on. That golden color on it looks absolutely amazing! Now that's somebody that definitely knows what she's doing. O yes. She's got me ready to go in the kitchen & make myself a skillet of it right about now, & put on a pot of greens, some smoked neck bones, & some candied yams. Tell her she done started something with that cornbread, & o yes, I have some cast-iron skillets. Thank you all so much for coming on & sharing your daughter's cornbread recipe because I definitely will be making it. She's an amazing cook as well as her mom; and by the way, I made your peach dumplings again yesterday. There wasn't a one left. 😀
Are you an educator? The manner in which you give instructions for your dishes is so detailed. Thank you so much! I want to make everything I’ve watched you prepare today and it’s just November 17th🤣🤣

Mrs. Chris I want to thank u for your cooking ministry. It touches me that u reaching out to the young ppl. I wish churches would take on this. That way our children r not idle and not inspired. Another way to fill in the gap in our community. Each one teach one.

I love watching how other people do things I like to switch it up somethings, but if I ever have any questions on how to do something I coming straight to your channel, I don't know you personally but I can tell you cook from the soul and out of love so I know it's good 🥰
I was just thinking of a corn bread recipe., and I came across your recipe. Thanks to both u and your daughter. You're absolutely right about training your children up in the way they should go..my two children learned how to start cooking at 10 and 12 years old,.and now they can make a delicious meal...:)
I'm just refreshing myself with your video - getting ready to make some cornbread for Thanksgiving dinner 🍽 The FIRST time I made it out was DELICIOUS!! I THANK YOU for giving us the jiffy version because I can't stand up long and it helps a lot 😁
Both versions of cornbread look wonderful....wish I had some right now. I love making sweet cornbread and I put honey on top right as it's out of the oven. Delicious!
I am not a young home cook but an older experienced one always searching to get the cornbread just right, (sometimes it's too crumbly) can't wait to try this thank you!
Hello Mrs. Chris and Daughter! I love cornbread! Daughter you did an excellent job preparing your cornbread. Blessings to both of you! Have an awesome day!
That's the best cornbread made with Martha Whites mix. It's now.my.favorite. That's saying something for a 71 year old girl. Thanks for your videos. I love ❤ them.
You are a wonderful cook love how you explain as you go along...I use the Martha White also. It's the best for making good cornbread sometimes I put a dollop of sour cream it seems to make it really moist.
You are a terrific teacher and for someone (me) who argues with her kitchen every day, this was so very reassuring. I love cornbread! Here we go😂🙏❤️🤣💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻
Only want to tell you this, the biggest bread have a big cracks it's because it was mix to much. I have made the recipe and mine rise higher and without cracks it was so good !!! Thank you 🤗
Hi Miss Chris. I just wanted you to know that you're my mom in the kitchen💕 I've followed a few of your recipes and they all turned out delicious! I'll be making the small version of the Jiffy cornbread recipe for me and my two daughters (saw instructions you posted to another subscriber). I'm making your Peach Dumplings, banana pudding and sweet potato pie for our Thanksgiving desserts. I've already tried the peach dumplings and it was absolutely amazing! Your daughter is beautiful and I will be making her cornbread version for Christmas. She is very blessed to have you. Thanks for all that you do, I really appreciate you💕💕
Thank you beautiful ladies so much for a fine cornbread recipe. Looks so good and great to see your twist on this recipe. Making my mouth water just looking at it. And above all.... So proud to see Mother and daughter passing down history together. Thank ya'll so much Peace from Texas
I made my Cornbread in my cast iron skillet for the first time and we tore it up!! It was buttery and crunchy but yet soft and moist. Thanks for posting Mrs. Chris!!
Every time I see this video I’m so caught by how much your daughter looks like my husband’s cousin (mixed race from the Philippines). Pretty lady. Thanks ladies. Carol Las Vegas
Hi Chris, I made your cornbread and my family really enjoyed it. I melted a 1/2 a Stick of butter and poured it on top of the cornbread after it was finished cooking.....Thank you again!!
I love the idea of the kettle for the used cooking oil. I’ve put mine in a clear glass jar which I think somehow made the oil go rancid quicker. Thank you so much!
Hats off to you I thank you and your daughter for this video. There are young girl and young ladies out here that can't cook. Plus there are some older ones to. Man and young men can't cook. There were four of us boys before my sister came along we lean how to cook with our mom and grandma. I wouldn't talk nothing for that good times.
Thank you to your daughter. I noticed she broke the egg inside of the batter. I was taught in HS never do that incase the egg is bad. It's a hard habit to break. I can't wait to try this.
Nobody in my country even knows what corn bread is. I bought some "so-called" corn bread from a supermarket, who were just starting to introduce American products into the UK. It was absolutely vile!! As it so happens, I met a young lady who is a student here. She is from Louisiana and when I told her of my experience, she was horrified. She ran off to her kitchen and immediately started making REAL cornbread, just for me. I can't tell you what a difference it was. It was like day and night between her end product and that rubbish that I had from the supermarket. I have never tried making it myself but I'm definitely going to give it a go :)
Mrs Chris. tell your daughter I made her cornbread my cornbread in my household and my family go crazy when I make it they ask me mama where you learn this cornbread from I told them Mrs Chris daughter made this this was her cornbread they told me to tell her thank you may God continually blessing you and your family Mrs Chris
Oh Mrs. Chris, I've been cookin a lonnng time, and I'm a great cook... However, I just make nasty cornbread. I love me some Jiffy and it's sweetness but the dryness of ANY cornbread I do isn't acceptable. Thank you and your beautiful daughter for sharing this today. I'm anxious to try and follow y'all's advice and see can I redeem myself. I so appreciate you girls...and as I'm writing this on Mother's Day 2020.... blessings and joy to you Miss Chris. I have four girls of my own....
Nalla Miller Thank you for your well wishes and the same to you. I really like the sweet taste of jiffy to and we use it a lot in my cornbread mix. For a more moist cornbread when you mix your batter make it more liquified, instead of thick.😃
