DeLonghi ESAM2600/3000/4000 heating element replacement

Heating element of your coffee machine is dead if your coffee machine started to produce cold coffee. You can easily replace it and enjoy hot coffee again. Part number 5513214291. Video is made with Delonghi ESAM2600, but the same are for all these models - ESAM2200, ESAM3000, ESAM3200, ESAM4000, ESAM4200.

Great video. Will be even better if you could describe the common symptoms of a faulty Generator. My machine randomly stops steaming. Or sometimes wont even start steaming. I opened the boiler looks ok. Tested the generator with wires connected its 38 ohm

Hi. I've got an Delonghi Micalite and when I press the power button the electric main board fuse switches off, meaning that the coffee machine is causing a short. Do you know if the heating element would be the problem? Thanks

Hi. I don't think so. Usually damaged heating element means interrupted circuit of the heating element and you can test resistance between contacts of the heating element. I would suggest checking the power board or if the water doesn't leak on the electric circuit.

Thank you for the reply. I disassembled the machine completely, I've checked every wiring connection with the multimeter and every connection seems fine. What I discovered is that the machine is working if you unscrew the screw that holds the earth wire inside of the machine. What do you think? Should I change the power cable with a new one?

Hi. Actually in this case is possible that heating element is bad. It is working but with the leak of electricity. You can test resistance between contacts of heating element and the case of heating element. It should be infinity. If it is 0 it means heating element is damaged inside and had short inside and electricity leaks inside of it.

I tried it but its 1. Should I touch both contacts at once and the heating element? Or one at a time?
