    Perfect. My 3300 is going on 17 years. Replaced generator previously and cleaning/lubing. Love how Delonghi-parts and all the great repair people such as yourself post videos. I saw video on repairing water pump- why? Replaced for 26$ and replaced valve while at it for 7$ - just to make sure. Been going bad for a bit because first push of coffee after new pump- dark/rich color- I had to turn back strength dial. I used the electrical silicone as well- but not required as fit of dbl brown wiring snug. Nice to not dispose of another electrical item. Thanks for video. Oh - just want to add after replacing- the pump makes funny/ loud noise - just needs priming by opening frother/ hot water valve till quiet.Mine also came as complete- did not need 2 screws out, like I said did replace valve on top just for good measure.

    Thank you for the video. Our problem was fixed by your instructions on how to change the pump. We bought the parts on Amazon and my husband changed it with your help! Saved a marriage!

    I really appreciate the video. You brought my Delonghi Magnifica back to life. One of the differences I had was that the pump already included the pieces fastened with the 2 screws. That made it easier. I also had to remove a resister glued on to the pump connecting to the wires that had to be removed and reconnected. Also, it didn't work at first. I had to run the steam to prime it. Then it started working normally again.

      Hi! Today I have the same problem as you. Could you tell me how you removed and repositioned that glued resistor? If necessary, what is the name of that glue! Thanks !

    Thank-you. This made the repair of my machine a lot easier. Machine is 10 years old and used every day.
    Taking the inner apart form the solenoid was really helpful tip (I know others say not necessary, but I found it useful to feel comfortable handling the parts).

    Thank you for showing the steps, very helpful. I had to modify them a bit b/c my model is slightly different (e.g., some wires are glued to the pump, so I just changed the plastic inside).

    Disconnect the two pipes from the top and then remove the top part. No need to remove the screws as replacement pump comes fixed with it.

    wished the rubber bracket came out that easy on mine. mine is zipped tied from the other side and it does not slide out like that. Surprised that you did not run some lime scale cleaner through the plastic pieces before putting them on the new pump

    Why detach the part further above the pump? It doesn't look like it's necessary.

    Hi i have esam4200 had it for probably 10 years plus,still makes great coffee,recently it started making less and less steam and takes forever to froth the milk up in a jug although if you turn the steam button off and turn the steam knob on there is plenty of water coming out,its been descaled regularly,any ideas what can it be?thanks(makes all the right noises when making steam pump ticking etc)

    Hi - I have this machine and just recently it refuses to make a long coffee - as if the coffee quantity dial is stuck on small or espresso. Any ideas? I have descaled and thoroughly cleaned the machine but this makes no difference.

    Seems to me you took the plastic insert apart for no reason, dry fit it on the pump, and then screwed it back in. Unless I missed something, save a step and leave the box wrench out of it.

      I bought a new pump, you just need to unscrew the top "F" part and screw it back on the new pump. There's also a part that is glued to the pump, just remove the glue and it will slip right out.

    While exchanging the pump, one of the brown cables came off. Do you happen to have some pictures of where they are connected to the board?

    Hello There, I have a DeLonghi ECP 3630. On turning on, I see the green light but does not pump any water for brewing. Perhaps the pump has fried. Do you have a video to show how to diagnose/replace the same. Thank you in advance.

    Hopefully you know the answer, if the pump has failed will the unit just not pump water up and through?

    Hi can a water pump go faulty but intermittently work? My machine intermittently stops pumping water through the steam nozzle. It tends to do the coffee but not the milk?

    Buonasera, la mia esam 2600 non eroga ne caffè ne acqua . Quale problema potrebbe essere ? Con serbatoio pieno di acqua si accende la luce rossa dell'acqua.

    Hi - I replaced my pump on the Delonghi Magnifica because it was not delivering water anywhere - the steamer now works but the coffee part is not delivering any liquid - any suggestions ? - There are no leaks . I’m an amateur but I’m willing to try ! If so do you know where I can get the parts and directions to repair myself? Thank you

    Question for the experts...I have the Magnifica. It will pull single shot but not double. Pump sounds normal at start and quickly gets quiet with nothing coming out. I replaced pump with oem after 3 complete descaling procedures made no difference. Hot water and steam works good. Water comes out of espresso nozzles at startup and shutdown. I fully cleaned and lubricated the plunger assembly (even that plug and tiny hole below screen). No signs in tubing of scale buildup. I am at a loss. Any suggestions? Thanks!

    Ich habe bitte eine Frage
    warum meine Delonghi Kaffeemaschine
    Kaffee mahlen, aber er fließt nicht

    If after replacing the pump its still not pumping out water, except for a tiny drop after a minute or so what else could be at fault?

      @BigHoaxFoot 3 года назад +1

      Did you get it to work. At first, mine didn't pump water. I had to turn on the steam side to prime it for some reason.

    • @urbanhaka8251
      @urbanhaka8251 3 года назад

      @@BigHoaxFoot I didn't but it does blow steam/water out of the wand. I'm guessing the pump is fine but some tube is clogged or possible a washer gone :S
