Much as I wish whoever Shadow teams up with on these missions would be quiet, I love how Shadow and Sonic work together in the final battle. It just gives me a warm feeling.
Watching this play out again makes me wish this were the canon ending of the game. Shadow and Sonic are buddies in a bad-cop good-cop situation, Shadow gets his memories back, and Black Doom is defeated. What more could you ask for?

I’d actually say that the dark mission of Final Haunt is canon, because why would shadow bring the emeralds to black doom if he just got the 7th from him? Aside from that, I love your timeline.
My favorite way to get to final haunt is westopolis normal, glyphic canyon hero, circus park hero, death ruins hero or dark, lost impact or space gadget hero, and final haunt hero I decided to let shadow meet up with sonic tails knuckles rouge and maybe Maria in the flashback

Sonic holds back his speed. The only time he’s moved as fast as he can is in Sonic Colors, during the final level.
