This guy says a 240Z is too expensive then immediately turns around and starts talking about his Bugatti’s??
You have to remember that 240Z has a much higher nostalgia and classical value than the Bugatti.
Definitely has the money to, but it's probably due to 240Z in good condition and unmodified is rarer than a Chiron/Divo these days

You can tell he's a businessman : he mentions quite a few times that some of the cars are appreciating. So he collects them, but there's also the investment return potential, and he doesn't lose sight of that.

It's funny what we saw as a fun common car. The 240Z is hard to find now, even for a man with lots of money. 30 years ago, my mom sold hers for $1500, running and driving !
It is very rare and super expensive in Malaysia. The price is unreal for what its worth.

I had a good friend in high school whose mother bought a new orange 240Z. She would let her daught borrow it and we would go cruising in it. I understand why there is such a demand for them as they were a blast to drive. Light weight with 6 cylinders equals FUN!

They labeled it absolutely appropriately, “Jay Leno’s Garage OF The East”, had they named it “Jay Leno’s Garage IN The East” then I could see your comment as being valid

Great collection but using Jay Leno's name makes viewers focusing on comparing this gentleman's collection with Leno's and it's unfair to all parties. You could have used another headline to saved yourself many sour comments, and Jay Leno never brags about the value of his cars. Btw Lamborghini is still making tractors.

he called the Lotus Emira turbocharged but its actually supercharged. just got done driving mine 10 min ago :)
the Emira has the option of two engines. the i4 and the v6. he said it was manual and only the supercharged V6 comes in manual.
The i4 is a turbo from Mercedes.

I own a V6 manual Emira, too, and yes, you are 100% correct. I think JP can be forgiven for not remembering all the details of his 200 cars. 😂

I thought the title was saying Jay has another collection of cars in Asia... Lame.
Its for sure an amazing collection, but there is a reason Mr Leno calls his "Garage". Bit different breed, however the circumstances (location) is different so maybe not so easy to get some of them on the road. Most seem to have a value, but not that many an interesting story. For sure a place must to see if you are a car guy and in Malaysia.
This guy made more money in 1 day than I did in 10 years.
