Thanks for sharing a very interesting get-together. I attended my bother's granddaughter's ceremony at a wedding hall. They invited relatives, friends and workplace colleagues --- altogether 50 people. It costed the newly weds $15-20,000. It's quite a burden for them. So when my daughter married we didn't have any ceremony. The couple had memorial photos at a photo shop and two family members (10 people) had just a dinner at a restaurant -- Japanese case.

How wonderful! Surprised that the younger men attending don't wear a tyubateika (grandfather does; he seems cool :), and women don't have head scarfs for a traditional event like a marriage? Time marches on, one supposes. Thank you for documenting these things! Best wishes to your family!

I have been absolutely delighted to see the traditional wedding in Kazakstan. It was very kind of all the participants to allow you you record this. Thank you for giving an insight into your culture. I am curious about the face-wiping gesture - never seen that before. Nor have I ever seen an herb-burning ritual. Very interesting indeed.

islam is more like a tradition in kazakhstan. most are muslim in the name so they don’t really follow islam’s rules. some are not even muslim. you can see women wearing hijab on the street but it’s not that common.

    • @deaniedean248
      @deaniedean248 2 года назад

@@meryemila so you would say a low percentage of women are fully practising Muslims in Kazakhstan, maybe 5%?
Very interesting all the asian Muslim women (Pakistan, Bangladesh, Malaysia Indonesia etc) are majority practising women.
Is this the same for the other Central Asian countries (Uzbekistan, Kyrgistan etc) would you say?

    Hi Salta !
Since finding the channel you have I feel you area very bright & good natured young lady !
I am an American with a long interest in visiting Kazakhstan so the video's you make have allot of education value to me and I am sure many more people that watch your channel feel they have learned many things .
I will be in the near years to come leaving the U.S for ever and bring a large investment funds to open a business or multi business's in a country which so far I have my eye's on the Republic of Moldova which I have since 2004 operated a tourism services in Moldova and Romania .
But I am open to switching my business plans to another country if I can get along well in a country other than Moldova.
I see the current issue with Kazakhstan is all language & writing is in Russian .
I have personally experienced scams in legal documents when the language of the legal contract was in Russian .
I lost a Hugh cash investment in Moldova once when the money loaded to the person had the contract done in Russian language and it was lied to me about what was written in the legal contract for pay back of money loaned .
Bad things lived through make you stronger and shame on me once which won't happen again !
Americans have a Hugh problem and disadvantage when we want to move to a country which Americans are far to trusting that nothing bad will happen and due to this foreigners know this then take advanced of Americans .
I would move to Kazakhstan for sure if I have a Kazakhstan wife or living with a Kazakhstan women .
Who knows I might still consider your country for spending my life and opening a few business's ?
I will come to your country in the years to come to check out all possibility's .
I like so much of what you show of Kazakhstan only the language and writing is Russian which poses a serious problem for me to invest in Kazakhstan .
I love all kinds of music so I have found music video's by Eska Muhaned I like and a few more I find amazing all since finding the channel you have giving me interest to know more about Kazakhstan .
So you are a good ambassador for your own Kazakhstan .
