Nice video, I would agree on most of it, except for laziness. Seriously, we are not lazy, this is just a stereotype. I have worked both in Almaty and Chicago, and Kazakh people actually work as much as Americans (at least in Chicago). This is a generalization, but still, if you do not have any financial support and want a good career in Kazakhstan, you gotta work a lot.

I think people like to show off wealth in almost every culture. In some places, being overweight shows you have money. In Kazakhstan, it seems that people like to get black SUVs. So I wouldn’t take that as a negative about Kazakstan, because showing off your wealth, in which ever way that may be, is just a part of human nature.

As a Quebecer (Canada), the driving seems so off.
When I drive, I'm always super chill and think of leaving 4-5-6 car lengths so other drivers can easily switch lanes.
Always happy to get a hand gesture as thank you from the other driver, and it's also part of "Defensive Driving" which translates into driving like everyone is a bumbling idiot that needs his personal space or he'll cause an accident.
"What would a bad driver do...? Cut me off without signaling, of course, therefor I must leave him space to do so."
(Also, data shows that Defensive Driving dampens and prevents traffic altogether.)

Perhaps they are not really “lazy”. Maybe people feel free, and not driven to constantly produce like here in America. It’s good to feel comfortable in enjoying your time as you see fit. Now, if Kazak people are bored or frustrated that’s not good. I need more information to understand this “lazy” behavior correctly. This may tie into operating on their own schedule. Perhaps they like being independent and free.

But one thing i complain about is lower wages
    If we have lower wages
Then blame the russians for killing our population during the famines and withdrawing many of the resources

Pardon my ignorance but are Kazakhs a mix of Russian and Chinese?

i believe they are turkic people, aka eurasians. historically turkics stem from nomadic steppe peoples of central asia. Turkics are in their own separate group of race.

Kazakhs are an ancient people of Turkic origin, the language of the Turkic Kipchak dialect. They were part of the state of Genghis Khan and ruled the Russian state for 300 years. In ancient times, our ancestors invaded China, in which China was forced to build a Chinese wall from our raids. We are a transitional race from the Mongoloid to the Europoid, this is called the Turanian race .
