Shortly after the Minden, NE tornado, two supercells interacted and merged in a chaotic way, leading to partially rain-wrapped multi-vortex tornadoes on the northern edge of a developing MCS. There were at least two, possibly three, distinct circulations less than 100 yards away in this clip, and likely others nearby that were heavily obscured by rain, hail, and 50mph+ inflow winds.

I love how calm these storm chasers are. No bickering or yelling at each other.

Crazy day! First the tornado 🌪️ in Minden, Nebraska-then those two twisters 🌪️ whirling around and crossing the road! What a chase! 😮😮😮😮😮

Was that a 2nd tornado at the end? I don't see how the first one could have gotten over to that side of the road without you noticing. Unless that was a failed occlusion?

I was the one who took this video, and yeah I think it had to be a 2nd tor?! The circulation from the first tornado seems to disappear, I believe. The camera picks up the second tornado WAY before I noticed it, because of the wide lens and because I was still looking right, so I didn't even see it until it was right there hahahaha
