Lol I know that was wonderful very unexpected I didn't expect it to be a real person that was kind of creepy he started me that must be fun seeing the looks on people's faces and scaring people he must love doing that I would love standing there seeing how people react

I would just watch Zultar scare people all day. Worth the price of admission.
Oh me too! There was one time during Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens they had a scareactor hidden behind a park map and he'd slide the map to the side and scare whoever came up to look at the map. My friend and I stood there for maybe 15-20 minutes just watching and laughing our butts off at people getting scared. Some would scream and run. Others would just jump a bit. So entertaining.

The double loops are the remaining peices from the Rollercoaster called the dragon. It was one of the more iconic rides there. It was very rickety and it had the over the shoulder restraints. You would slam side to side and your head would bounce off but it was such a fun Rollercoaster. I'm gonna miss it. And those log flumes you saw are from the old log ride that was originally located where that green Rollercoaster (called The Monster) is located now. As the video progressed i was just naming off all the rides I saw and just felt so happy you took your time to come to Iowa! I hope you enjoy your stay and I hope you experience the Iowan kindness!
That was my first ever rollercoaster 🎢 I'm so sad to know it's shut down, but I totally get why they closed it

@@Grtfhftf it was my first Rollercoaster that went upside-down so it had a good place in my memories. I am glad it shut down because it practically gave you a concussion lol
The best part was that Lady's reaction to Zultar. So unexpected. I liked yours too! I liked the Amusement Park. A lot of different types of coaster rides.

This has been my amusement park growing up, living in eastern Iowa. I love that you covered this park in your video. Many great memories made here. Unfortunately they have been under scrutiny lately for some fatalities involving the rides. But it is certainly the best, if not the only amusement park in Iowa.

What a great adventure. Very unique park, the Zoltar had a Joe Gatto vibe and the ride inside the Arcade was cool. The green coaster looked like something wacky and of course at the 11:16 Mark- Bad Bob. I want to have a beer with Bad Bob and hear his tales 😎 Great video

Okay okay I lost it when the "moonshine" ended up being a butt, I did not expect that but it has made my day infinitely better.
I live down the street from Adventureland and have season passes. The Underground is my favorite ride. It is cheesy, but fun and the smell reminds me of the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland (I was born and raised in Anaheim, so I went there a lot as a kid). What I understand about Adventureland's Main Street is that the owners (it's a family owned park) consulted someone who worked for WED and building Disneyland and got permission from the company. I don't know how true that is. Anyways, the Monster is my second favorite ride and the Dragon Slayer is quite "spinny." It's ok. That robot and Zoltar are new. When I was there a few weeks ago they weren't there then. Glad you had fun! We love the water park too and are planning to go after work tomorrow. ☺️

If your in Iowa you have to check out The Grotto of the Redemption in West Bend. Truly inspiring work of devotion. Built by a priest made entirely out of crystals over 30 years.
Yet another brilliant park Jacob, lots of good rides, an amazing Zoltar, that woman nearly 💩herself when he spoke 🤣, did have a feel of Main Street, really enjoyed the vlog Jacob Thankyou x
Adventurelands over rated and over priced almost becomming unaffordable to most families. Used to go every weekend as a kid.
Well, he could have at least gone on the cool tame wooden coaster.
I was just there a few days ago. I couldn’t believe my eyes at first when I saw that man on your thumbnail. About the Disneyland part, early on it was plan with the Disney company. That why it looks so similar.

You are so close to The Grotto of the Redemption in West Bend, IA and then would be even closer to Arnold’s Park in Okoboji, IA which is the home if the famous tipsy house which you MUST check out!
That looks as fun as Disneyland and at a third of the price.
The loops at rye end was part of the dragon roller coaster ride, it was tore out when they put the new one in you passed through on the skylift. The park swears they resused alot of the dragons parts but did not. Alot of the park has been rearranged quite abit. Thanks for a trip down memory lane. Side note i hauled alot of material on and off site for the new rides years ago.

that big green roller coaster replaced the log ride, which is too bad. One of my favorite things was taking the ski lift over the hill and feeling the spray from the water

That roller coaster that is only half way built is the dragon, they took it down to build the dragon slayer in 2020. The red one that puts you on the side of the coaster dangling.

A good dark ride you need to check out is in upstate NY in Sylvan Beach. It's call laffland
20:43 fun fact before it just going to the ground it was called the dragone but it fgot replaced by the red ride you see in the background

I can't believe you went to Adventure Land! That is the one amusement park that I love here in Iowa! I got to perform there with my band. It is themed after Disneyland actually.

On the Underground, they used gravity to propel a dark ride. The Calico Mine ride (built and operated by Bud Hurlbut) at Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, Ca (opened Nov 1960) uses the same design. The ride car/train is lifted to it's maximum height via an inclined chain lift and once at the top, the car/train uses the force of gravity to complete the entire track ride. The expectation of a drop is due to years of riding roller coasters...
