Amite County Fire Day 3 - 10/10/2023

The Amite County wildfire is still open and has burned over 150 acres over the last 3 days. A Type 3 and Type 1 USFS Helicopter has been assisting with water drops. Crews from #MSforestry Commission along with crews from Florida and Alabama are tirelessly working on the fire. A dozer with the USFS and Liberty and Street Fire Departments have also been assisting.
