250-Acre Wildfire in Madison County

On November 6th, #MSforestry Commission crews contained a 250-acre wildfire in Madison County, assisted by 33-1 and 33-2. A house fire caused the fire that later threatened a camp house. It was located off of Mt. Pilgrim Rd north of Canton. 3 MFC crews, Valley View VFD, Farmhaven VFD, and Madison EMA with a thermal drone all assisted with containing the fire.
