They represented the Kidd very good in the Game from what i can say. Only the Ability to shoot AntiAir Shells with the Main Guns is not available. She can take and deal a good Amount of Damage if skilled right. She is best played as a Supporter or battling other DD´s.
I seem to remember a story about trouble in the design of the overhead on the bridge deck on this class ... something like it was not high enough. The story I heard was that one of the gals on the design team, to figure the height took an average of the heights of the men in the team and added a foot, which proved too low in rough seas. True or not it's an interesting story!
+01DOGG01 OMG! What sort of editor would keep that in the cut? I think they tried to capture the heartfelt emotion as he remembered the deaths, but ended up catching him shit himself.
I have a story I wonder if anyone can confirm. It was told me by an old U.S. sailor, Three U.S. destroyers broke through the fog in the midst of 4 IJN cruisers. The destroyers were single file, the cruisers were two by two. The lead cruiser flashed a challenge at the lead destroyer, the Yank captain had his signals officer flash the challenge to the adjacent cruiser who responded and the yanks flashed the answer back to the lead cruiser, the Yanks sailed between the cruisers and back into the fog before the Japanese realized what was up. True?
I was on the USS Halsey Powell DD 686 not during the war time but it too was hit by kamikazes and seen a lot of action it had several scar marks from battles as well fortunately it was given to the South Koreans and then it was scrapped out

I read later in Captain Kid's years he settled in New York City in the US for a few years until he got caught.
Great ship, but I'm really glad they changed Narator on this series.
They represented the Kidd very good in the Game from what i can say. Only the Ability to shoot AntiAir Shells with the Main Guns is not available. She can take and deal a good Amount of Damage if skilled right. She is best played as a Supporter or battling other DD´s.
i spent the night there in boy scouts and it was fun
Same
I like his T Rex hand
Wonder what happened to it though...
Here after watching Greyhound
0:58 and 11:39 what’s that track with the chorus
I seem to remember a story about trouble in the design of the overhead on the bridge deck on this class ... something like it was not high enough. The story I heard was that one of the gals on the design team, to figure the height took an average of the heights of the men in the team and added a foot, which proved too low in rough seas. True or not it's an interesting story!
Weird moment - 6:25. What happened to his hand as well?
***** Woah, unfortunate accident for him but at least he only lost his part of his hand and not more.
Thanks for the background story.
+01DOGG01 OMG! What sort of editor would keep that in the cut? I think they tried to capture the heartfelt emotion as he remembered the deaths, but ended up catching him shit himself.
ObiWan Chronobi
LOL dude that's one way to put it. Much better than mine.
If you’re born on the 4th of July, you’re an Independence Kidd
I have a story I wonder if anyone can confirm. It was told me by an old U.S. sailor, Three U.S. destroyers broke through the fog in the midst of 4 IJN cruisers. The destroyers were single file, the cruisers were two by two. The lead cruiser flashed a challenge at the lead destroyer, the Yank captain had his signals officer flash the challenge to the adjacent cruiser who responded and the yanks flashed the answer back to the lead cruiser, the Yanks sailed between the cruisers and back into the fog before the Japanese realized what was up. True?
One time I told my friend about this ship and he called it the USS This Kidd as a reference to my nickname This Kid
I was on the USS Halsey Powell DD 686 not during the war time but it too was hit by kamikazes and seen a lot of action it had several scar marks from battles as well fortunately it was given to the South Koreans and then it was scrapped out
