It leads into the trees a bit, has a fallen log and large rock (need a steel pick and axe to get through) and there's a golden trashcan hidden by a tree. In it is a power book that makes it more likely to get items when searching trashcans.
With the Mayo fact: Im imagining the Farmer goes into the Saloon one night,with everyone else also there. They deink mayo and leave,the whole town is in utter shock and the rest of the night is dead quiet. I find this very funny 😂😂😂

I dont know if this is a huge deal but if you’re lucky enough to get those mushroom trees that spawn you can now get seeds from them to plant more!! They’re basically like the other trees where its the small nub sticking out. The first few on my farm grew in a really unfortunate spot so now im glad I can stock up on seeds!!

On my switch, I got a Mushroom tree in the first year and was trying to let them spread to where I wanted them. I ended up getting all the way to Mr. Qi's walnut room before they got close. They kept trying to spread to the wrong direction.
You get more options as you level up Fishing. I stuck it on Random, so every time I cast, I get a different float. I had a hilarious moment where I fished up a can of Joja Cola, and when I cast my line again, it had a Joja Cola float, so it looked like I lobbed the can back into the water in anger XD

A thing I’ve noticed is that items are sorted differently in chests now, I noticed this bc it used to bother me how the metal ores and bars were sorted by variety together (eg: copper ore and then copper bar etc) but now they’re sorted type now, ores are sorted together and bars are sorted together.
The slime hutch size change messed up my farm’s design a bit, since the way I dealt with it was making the building part of my animal fence, so I all of a sudden had a humongous gap in my fencing 😅 pretty quick fix though
Maybe, but by the time you get the Geode Crusher, you've likely gotten all the artifact gems. You still need to go to Clint for Golden Coconuts, Troves, and Mystery Boxes.
If you mean The Alleyway Buffet (which boosts the chance to get items from trashcans), it's only from a specific, golden, trashcan to the right of the blacksmith. Not just any trashcan.

SOEAKING OF THE WORLD MAPS: You now show up on them based on your actual position rather than being placed in a general area. That means that if you’re near the wizards tower, your marker will be close to the tower on the map. It’s a very simple change but I love it a lot
