That's really cool. Does the V8 cam fit the 4 cylinder? I figure it must but have never personally had one apart.
V8 cam will not work. 4 Banger only.
@@ratpatrol66 I didn't think about until now but the cam timing must be much different huh? Very cool engine though. I have thought about buying an early Tempest and restoring it just to get the 4 cylinder and the trans axle!

A friend built it and I bought it. Drag race and land speed racing is the plan.
It would be the wrong half for a midget, unfortunately. Super cool build though.
What kind of power is this thing putting down?
Pretty tame in current configuration. Probably 275-300hp. Have high compression pistons and nozzles for alcohol so maybe 325hp or better?
Stroke 3.75 or not ??
What carbs are on it?
No carbs. This is a SBC Hilborn mechanical fuel injection adapted to Pontiac heads.
