    I love doing this kind of thing with my MC-707, such a crazy Techno machine (like Ableton in one box). Just sit on the couch in the lounge and tweak until my head explodes!! 🤣😎

    I totally get you, if you have a synth you have so many memories of, buy the same one, if you can find it or have it restored, for the same amount or more. then I choose to have the memory restored.❤

    Damn, this is pure gold!
    Thank you John! Picked up few tips.
    Wanna ask simple question - what is your honest option about RD-8? Did or will you use it in your production basis? If yes, what would you suggest to tweak in Ableton for post production to use it in commercial-release way. Use the same standard tips/techniques from internet "how into 808 etc etc" or maybe you can tell some own tricks and hints how to work directly with RD-8 ?

    BTW, just kindly reminder - I'm still listening to your Lightwave compilation maybe from 2005 or 2006 year till now and it's so fresh every time I insert CD into my old boombox, especially Remember (CSM Version) as in intro here! :)

    And thanks again.
    All the best from Kyiv, Ukraine and take care in this Covid-Home times,
    Eugene.

      One year later, let me try to answer your question. Seriously, it's not bad at all. It's never going to be a real 808, but then again, you don't have to worry about these nuances. On a loud soundsystem, nobody is going to hear a difference. All the best to you, I hope you're safe... #prayforukraine

    Too fast , dub is slower - this is just noisy techno !

    • @joshsmith7812
      @joshsmith7812 2 года назад +11

      Dub Techno doesent need to be slow or fast it’s about the production method that makes it dub Techno, some of the early pioneers of dub techno like basic channel had some high BPM tracks
