- This is the long Introduction, all endings and credits to the 2001 arcade game Martial Masters. Also includes the website internet codes for this game, which are no longer used. You have to be a speed reader for some of these ending the text goes way to damn fast. FYI: True Lotus Master does not have an ending the game just ends. What a waste, you have to fight every character for a single ending and then nothing, that's BS!

True Lotus Master, an unlockable character, has no ending of his own.
The English translation was done lazy, it didn't capture how epic the endings were. Love the game, it's like Street Fighter 3 mix with Samurai Showdown feel, except it is set in China.
“Ture” Lotus Master in particular is right there under the life bar and everything.
Nobody mentioned it but Scorpion is based on a villain in a movie called Operation Scorpio. Don't remember if he has a penchant for prostitutes though.

OK, this is great. Saojin's ending has George Lam's "Mr. Strong Man" playing. It's known as the theme of the "Once Upon a Time in China" films, the ones with Jet Li's portrayal of Wong Fei-hung, on which Huang is based. And Saojin herself is based on Thirteenth Aunt, with whom Fei-hung gets a forbidden love subplot.
(Additional trivia: the melody in "Mr. Strong Man" is actually from "Under the General's Orders," a centuries-old war song.)
Tiger has the best ending in my opinion. Gives me vibes of King in Tekken 1 and 2.

Well, it is now but only through the IGS collection. It unfortunately isn't worth it because it has horrible emulation problems.
Why Scorpion would cheat on his hot wife/girlfriend is beyond me. That part reminds me of an old bootleg NES game, Figthing (sic) Hero III, in which the ending for a character named K.Sato showed him celebrating his victory with a pair of harlots (but no angry spouse showing up to crash the party) :D

Monkey Boy is like naughty-playful kid who love to makes fun with opponent.
Then you are underestimated and he delivered his true power like in 0:21
Very dangerous and feartul fighter. Love his kick animation. Looks like it can killed anyone.
Martial Masters vs Suiko Enbu would be fun to see :)

Yes. I did. LOVED this game. Played it all the time until OPERATION WOLF: FIRST MISSION came out for the Nintendo Switch. Another great reboot of a classic late 80's arcade game, by the way.

This is what I be hating you have underrated diamonds in the rough games like this that just because games like streetfighter and Mortal Kombat take center stage gems like this fall into the background and most of us don’t discover them until years later
This game needs a console port not a remake.
