Militado is quietly putting out some great watches. The fact that Baltic doesn’t have sapphire is unacceptable for me. But that’s just me. And yes, my OCD prefers this to Baltic. Thanks for the great review!
Yeah they are. I agree with you on the Baltic as well. For that price I'd definitely expect sapphire. It's not just me then? Symmetry is so relaxing. Cheers mate.
It's a good looking watch. I like the textured dial and the look of the applied numeral indices, the minute track and small seconds dial. No sapphire crystal and no lume is just a cost saving move that doesn't matter to me. I'd rather pay the extra money for something I want. Another nice and informative review, thanks for sharing.
@@HonestWatchReviewsHWR surprisingly so. I love it and wear it quite frequently. I purchased it through watchdives and it arrived pretty quickly. As you said it shines. Difficult to fathom how they can make such a quality watch at such low price
You have a great no-nonsense delivery style, straight to the point. Great videos overall. This watch reminds me a lot of Soviet watches, mostly Raketa, I'd say, which offer much grreater movement quality being Swiss movement clones.
@@HonestWatchReviewsHWR Yes, if I recall correctly Raketa movements were provided by Molnija, and I believe they had Rolex movement clones which were later upgraded by Soviet watchmakers. Do your little homework on Soviet watches, they had a gazillion of them of every style with very dependable movements for not much money.
With the quartz movement, the back is going to have to come off eventually for a battery change. So, it would have been nice if they used a standard screw down case back instead of the Rolex style caseback.
Great review 👍. A couple of years ago, I bought a San Martin dress watch with quartz small seconds and a silver dial. If this had been available, I think I would have bought this instead. I love Breguet numerals 😁
I've not heard that myself. But I do have two other watches with the same movement. ruclips.net/video/9TEodo9Umuo/видео.html I've not had any issues with either of them.
Beautiful watch - I would have preferred a automatic vs quartz.. Atleast a Seagull movement would have done good with a Sapphire glass. I thought for a while to buy this in last Ali sale.. thanks much for a great video again..
I actually really like how shiny it is. It just plays with the light and looks great I think. The outdoor wrist roll at the end of the video shows this really well. Thanks 👍
Thanks for your suggestion , these info are quite important for us , we will update our product images on site so the texture looks more visible, thank you .
I hate watching such videos!!!! All these fine militarystyle watches - and I can´t wear them because of me big wrist Never mind, nice video as always 👍👍👍
for watches with small seconds i have the seestern automatic nomos, pierre paulin jumping hours (salmon dial), AVI-8 spitfire (black&yellow), and D1 milano commando (gun metal) @@HonestWatchReviewsHWR

Yeah I love the way the textured dial contrasts with the high polished indices.
Great review, thanks. I got the salmon colour dial. I must say, I was pleasently surprised. A very well made and beautiful watch
Cheers. Yeah it is a beautiful piece isn't it?

I'm not aware of that brand. Perhaps I'll have to check them out.

Great looking watch. Love strap. Dial is sharp too.
Cheers!
Yeah the strap is a nice one. That isn't always the case with the included straps on Chinese watches.

That is a good point actually. I didn't consider that.

Cheers mate. You could always get this one in a different colour... Maybe the salmon 😉
@@HonestWatchReviewsHWR True 😁
I wish they'd use the same movement, but it's a damn fine looker.
That would have been pretty sweet. If you want something similar with the same movement though.

i heard that the baltic version with mini rotor had or still has a high failure rate. did u hear that?
I've not heard that myself. But I do have two other watches with the same movement.

just got mine in champagne/salmon dial. love it
Nice 👌

Yeah automatic or even a hand winding version would be great. Thanks, I'm glad you liked it.
@@HonestWatchReviewsHWR Absolutely loved the dial and its symmetry of the sub dial at 6.
It’s an interesting watch, they don’t get kudos for design but I’d wear it. How are you getting on with the shininess? Great work btw

I do like this watch. Two complaints: I prefer a larger watch and when I view it on their site, the texturing is next to invisible.
Yeah the pictures on the website don't do it justice. You wouldn't really know that some of the dials have texture, whilst others don't.
Thanks for your suggestion , these info are quite important for us , we will update our product images on site so the texture looks more visible, thank you .
Such a lovely little piece. Unfortunate the mineral is a deal breaker for me. Otherwise I'm sure I would have bought one.
Yeah sapphire would have been nice, but given the price I think it's acceptable.
Same here 😢 how much more money would a flat sapphire cost?
It's a nice looking watch but at 36mm it's a little on the too small side for my wrist
Do you have a large wrist then, or just prefer bigger watches?
@HonestWatchReviewsHWR Yes, I have an 8" wrist. I have a couple of 36mm watches so I try to stick to at least 40mm
@@brewerbacker82 That makes sense. It would look too small on an 8" wrist. I think it's ok on my 7" one though.
Very nice indeed, however 36mm is too small, 39mm and I would buy one.
A few people have said that. Maybe they could do a larger version for you guys with bigger wrists.
I hate watching such videos!!!! All these fine militarystyle watches - and I can´t wear them because of me big wrist
Never mind, nice video as always 👍👍👍
That's unfortunate. How big exactly is your wrist? Thanks 👍
Gorgious. WIsh they made it in an auto or hand wound version .
That would be good. Maybe they still will.
These are wonderful looking but sadly as many of these type watches, size is for children's wrists.. Wish these would have 40 - 42mm versions
Vintage style dress watches tend to be on the smaller side normally.
ill take that over the baltic
Is that due more to the price, or the placement of the sub dial?
BOTH!@@HonestWatchReviewsHWR

I bought the baltic and it ran 9 MINUTES fast. And they fought my return every step of the way. baltic is HORRIBLE.
I'm sorry to hear that. Will you be getting one of these to try out instead then?
