Hello, Maria! As always, thanks for the video - it was very interesting to see your non-K-pop collection. I can’t remember the last time I sat down to read a book or manga, but some of your recommendations definitely piqued my interest.
my favorite graphic novel is “The Sandman” it is amazing!! If you read anything have it be Sandman. It is a little pricey to buy the whole series cause it’s big but it is so worth it!
I really like your organization!! For book recs, i just finished Animal farm, which I've been told is a highschool read in the U.S, so many people read it when they're younger and I don't think they get to fully appreciate the book, and This is how you lose the time war, which was somewhat confusing but overall beautiful read. If you haven't read either i recommend them! My favorite author is Neil Gaiman and from him i think you'd really like Anansi Boys and The Ocean at the end of the lake!

@@HONEYDEWMOCHI animal farm is one of my fave books! It is a high school read where I live too, but I read it once I graduated and LOVED IT 🥰

Loved this video! Really enjoyed seeing your books since I am also a book reader, especially fun hearing that Fredrik Backman is one of your favorite authors because as a swede its fun seeing Swedish authors being big in other countries hehe ☺
ahh thank you! and omg his writing is perfection! he actually did 2 different book signings here in toronto so a few of my books are signed and personalized by him! he's so well spoken! also, I think the cultures between canada and sweden are very similar (especially with the beartown series) so I related a lot to those stories!

book reviewer to kpop collector pipeline?? i also used to review books a lot when i was a blogger, those were some insane days lol i haven't watched a bookish vid in a while, it's so nice to know ur an avid reader too!
ur shelves are so nice! do u recommend normal people? i'm currently watching the show and im finding it quite boring but im intrigued about the book since i've heard lots of great things about it 🤔 i've always wanted to read some shaun david hutchinson as my fave booktuber back in the day also used to love him, might give him a shot since i'm getting back into reading more frequently now!

Amazing bookshelf 🤩!!! Aaaaah Haruki Murakami: he is my favorite writer ❤️ and you also have "House of Leaves", which is one of my favorite novels 😍. I really love Nagabe's works and drawings. I see that among the books to read you have "Breasts and Eggs" and "Almond": they are books that I loved and that I highly recommend. "A Clockwork Orange" is a novel that I have had on my wishlist for years, but I never decide to buy and read it, but since a new edition has been released in my country, I think the next time I go to the bookshop I might pick it up 🤔.
My recommend are: for the manga, "The horizon" by JH, "Pandora Hearts" by Jun Mochizuki", "Coelacanth" by Kayoko Shimotsuki and "The Girl from the Other Side: Siúil, a Rún" by Nagabe, while for the books "Lonely Castle in the Mirror" by Mizuki Tsujimura, "Bunny" by Mona Awad, "Cursed Bunny" by Chung Bora, "Rabbit" by Terry Miles and "Lord of the Flies" by William Golding.
