been beta-testing both ercf and tradrack.. tradrack is so much easier than ercf, way less complicated. But with any printer, it's the damn toolhead sensors that are an issue to implement neatly.. and buffers! goddamn i hated trying to wrangle filament coming from 6 directions
I sure can I'll get a video on a lot of the user things out this week just wanted to get a little time on it so I was putting out accurate information.
@@jasonjennings6686 agreed I would enjoy the tool changer project as well. Been thinking about a rebuild on the 2.4 so maybe I'll look into it when I do.
It was definitely my hardest and most frustrating build to date though I think the TAP Changer may just knock it into second. If I can help you let me know
@@projectsindadsgarage I found that one but I didn’t see the parts that would make up what I thought I seen in your video. Lol but thank you for the link.
Well not sure what part is shitty in the video since it doesn't even print anything in the video so it is like you didn't even watch the video at all. Also did not show the printer doing any print moves to show any speeds but hey thanks for the engagement.
Looks like you've done it for sure, awesome work place.
Thanks
Nice work great attention to detail on you switchwire and trident.
Thank you! Cheers!
I love seeing this on a switchwire
It really seemed like the best platform for it for many reasons.
I can’t wait to get started on mine, still waiting for an official kit to be released.
I heard march or April for the LDO kit.
@@projectsindadsgarage that’s the word so far yes
@@PPGMatt there are some kits on AliExpress already but I have not heard anything about them one way or the other.
This is a whole nother level of tinkerer
Yeah definitely in a different class vs a printer build
This is why I choose to build the tradrack lol. Its just wayy easier to use. Also way more reliable imo
Nice.
nice work!!!!
Thanks!
Very cool

What's the key differences
I've got mine built, but dialing in all the settings has been a pain. even with the toolhead sensors, it feels like every day there's a new problem
True story
Can you do a video on how to load filament into the etcf/cotton tail?
I sure can I'll get a video on a lot of the user things out this week just wanted to get a little time on it so I was putting out accurate information.
I'm going to build a tool changer. Seems less complicated
Ah changing one set of complications for another set
@@projectsindadsgarage True! But it will be fun :)

I got the hardware done and then gave up trying to get the software configured. this thing is a nightmare, lol.

Can you share a link to the filament holders that you printed please.

Amazing speed !! But amazing shity part !! Explain me the advantage of this speed when you get this unexpected result ?? Any !!

Sorry, wrong video. Shitty youtube... it was for your benchy. I'll copy/paste
Yeah speed benchy is not about great quality for sure. Just fun
