    For me, the bambu A1 truly delivers the best experience in multi-color printing, and bambu has elevated the overall standard of Chinese 3D printer manufacturers. However, I hope to see even more improvements in the bambu A1. It would be great if it could print as quickly as my FLSUN T1. Currently, I find myself using the T1 more often with mixed-color filaments.

    As a bambu copy, do you think the ACC has surpassed the AMS? Has it addressed issues like filament waste in multi-color printing? I recently got a T1Pro for my business, and it’s been really reliable so far. The only thing missing is multi-color printing. Now, I’m torn between the bambu A1 and the Kobra Combo. Has anyone used either of these? What are your thoughts on which one to go for? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! 😊

    • @KeoPrints
      @KeoPrints  Месяц назад

      I would go for the Bambu personally but that’s what I have more experience with. Paul really has had a great experience with his Kobra 3 combo though so nothing but good things report from over here. They both suffer the same filament waste issue but there are ways to minimize, not fully eliminate but minimize anyway.

    I use a K3 with ACE and it had a couple quirks when it came out, but other than Anycubic replacing a printhead that leaked, which they replaced free of charge, it's been a good printer. I've debated upgrading to a 2nd ACE unit to do 8 color.

    As a seller of 3D printers and hobbiest, working whit this mashine has been great. Love competition as its little to none when it comes to bambu lab, but i just cant recomend this over a bambu lab its 70% there but for only 30 dollar less and whitout a built in camera it just does not bite the big dog. Also the little amount of creality we sell and the ones we sell get sent back due to quality issues... These are all big brands whit big pockets... i just wished they would make a high quality printer that can compete whit bambulab, instead of releasing new printers every 5 months that are almost unfinished.

    I have 2 Kobra 3 combos, with three ACE Pro's 2 have had multiply issues with filament tangle errors... AnyCubic support sent me the parts to repair free... but took about two weeks. Repair parts fixe one ACE but the other still same filament tangle errors... so another two week received more parts fixed one issue but not completely.... so waiting on more parts... support people are great but because they are in China every email replies to get issue solved takes a day... so if you don't care about the ACE you would be good... I have two ACE Pro's connected to one Kobra for 8 colors and has not had any problems... the other ASE is well a PITA so it seems it is pot luck on what you get. As AnyCubic Kobra 3 Combo is not ready for prime time, I had a gut feeling when I order them that I should have spent my money elsewhere.

      @billb921 8 дней назад

      Well my other one, I spoke too soon it seems... the third one that I bought separately from the printer failed, only took like 3 days for support to request to send me the parts and I received the parts in record time in 10 days once shipped, so again around two weeks, they sent a buffer and pulley assembly. I took apart the defective buffer to see what the problem was and I found 4 broken pieces of filament all about 8mm long stuck in the one line, strange how that would happen. The other thing I noticed was that the spring in the buffer was twisting and the end of the spring was rubbing/dragging on the rod/shaft, which I believed is causing most of the buffer problems. They need a tiny washer put in there at the end of that spring which I think would keep that from happening, or different type of spring. Oh well...

    I don't think the hub unit not being available at launch is much of a problem. The combo comes with one ACE, and you'd only need the hub if you were to buy a second ACE for the same printer. Similarly I don't think Prusa not shipping day 1 with input shaper was much of a problem because they still had everything in place to deliver input shaping via a software update as soon as it was ready. We don't see nearly as many cases of truly unfinished/untested 3D printing products hitting the market anymore as we did even 3-4 years ago. If you go buy BTT's latest mainboard product within a week of its release these days, it will probably actually work instead of smoking a critical component on first power-up because they actually do beta tests of their new shit now instead of leaving that burden on the paying customers who think they're getting a whole product. Stuff like the Prusa and ACE cases may be inconvenient but we are certainly a far cry away from how bad things used to be.
