🎮 "You're In Control" - Спорт
It was pure joy watching your reactions. Big love from Swansea South Wales UK.
Thanks so much Pac! I'm glad you enjoyed the video and appreciate you checking it out! All love for you and Wales! My video editing/marketing team is based in Swansea 🙌🏽
For just the way George North humiliated that {insert_four_letter_word_here} Israel Folau alone, will make him a rugby legend forever. Great reaction video as per usual, bro! 👊
One of the most iconic moments in the past couple of decades
I appreciate you Christiaan!! Great seeing you on stream this past weekend
100%
@@QSNgg For sure, sorry I missed you on the other 2 games. Was a great tournament! Not sure if you know about the whole Israel Folau saga; look it up for some background to my salty comment about him. 😁
Much peace and love from SA bro! ✌👊
When Gatland took over managing the Welsh national side (for the first time) he raided the Welsh under 20's side for new blood. Except George North. He had been playing in the under 18's side but... he was bigger than most of the under 20's. When they went to the Rugby World Cup he broke so many records. Youngest player to score a try in a RWC, youngest player to score a Hat Trick in a RWC etc. By the Time Wales were knocked out he also had a very odd record. He had actually played more matches of international rugby than club rugby. Considering the run was about 8? matches at the RWC before being knocked out it shows how little he had played. Normally it takes player 2 or more seasons to even be considered for country.
Thanks for the background on that Gnome! I love hearing that
He played center and wing for Wales. Have a look at Jonathan Davies the Welsh center as well.
I'll check out Jonathan Davies
Another banger, cheers for this. George North is an all time Welsh great and will be missed from the sport.
Much love Ian! You're the best!
7th highest try scorer of all time. 2nd highest in the 6 nations. Underrated for the last 7 years… legend.
Massive legend! Thanks for the stats too Corey
my favourite player of all time. love you Northy, wishing you all the best 🫡
100% !!
He really was a legend great to watch
100% !! That's cool you got to see him play
I watched his first game live and I’ll be watching his last game live tomorrow
That's awesome KT!! Sad to see he got injured on his final game
in my eyes, a Northampton saint legend to add to his international status, What a player!!!!
100% Foxx!
George North was 18 years old when he made his debut for Wales. Incredible talent
He looked like an amazing talent for sure Max
Great player, dude has had some horrific concussions over the years tho
That's what I've been hearing
I know your media team is Welsh, so maybe they’ve told you this already but the BBC did a great TV show on Welsh rugby called “Slammed”. The first season was on the Wales revival in the 00’s, leading to Gatland’s first run as coach. The second season goes way back to the 60’s and 70’s when Wales was dominating the game and how it all went to shit. The third season is the largely Dark Ages of the 80’s and 90’s. It’s a great show and if you’re planning on visiting Wales, then it’s a great primer on Welsh rugby.
I have not hear about Slammed, but I'll 100% check it out. Thanks for letting me know about it Argonaut!
George is a fkn beast 🇿🇦
100% Thomas!
George north is a once in a generation player, he was bitterly unlucky to miss out on the last lions tour to South Africa. The year before he had seamlessly transitioned from a world class winger to a world class outside centre, in a year when he won the six nations with wales. Going from a winger to a 13 is not an easy transition to make. He was nailed on in a lot of people's predictions to get picked at 13 for the lions but ended up getting injured for the ospreys just before. It's sad to see so many Welsh legends retiring recently but unlike tipuric and Alun Wyn Jones, George north is still relatively young so I'm still hoping we haven't seen the last of him in a Wales shirt. Especially because he's only retiring from international rugby and not club rugby.
You're 100% right about that DJ. I'm interested to see how bad his injury was this past weekend and when we'll see him return to club play
I absolutely love your analyses with a lot of pauses to emphasise on minute details explaining how exactly those things are done. Brilliant.
Thanks so much Leslie! I really appreciate you!
All these old clips made me miss Eddie Butler and his commentary RIP
I'll have to listen to more Eddie Butler. RIP 🕊🤍
@@QSNgg Andrew Forde did a video for Eddie Butler's 6N commentary. There is also a vid with a poem called A Land Roughly the Size of Wales that was read by Eddie. the 6N just isn't the same without him...
Another great video man! George North was one of my favourite players and will be another great missed from Wales. Would also love to see you do a reaction of Dan Carter!
Thanks so much Adam! I appreciate you! I have Dan Carter on the list!
You need to react to Halfpenny as well. He's the 15 passing the ball to North around 15:45 in this video (yours, not Ford's). Beautiful welsh player.
Andrew Ford made three videos on the guy, I think that's saying a lot. X)
I'll definitely check out Halfpenny! Thanks for the recommendation 🙌🏽
Great player he will be sadly missed 😞
100% !
Going to throw this in. Another fantastic Wales winger was Shane Williams. Whilst North is 6ft 4, Shane Williams is 5ft7. And an absolute Welsh legend
Shane is Wales greatest winger of all time ❤
I have a Shane Williams video coming us very soon Joe. Thanks for the recommendation
Beast of a man I love North. He started his career as a winger that could play centre if needed he played most of is career as a winger but in the last 4 of 5 years of his career he played more and more as a centre who could plat wing if needed.
100% Andrew! Thanks for letting me know his career path and changing positions. I was wonder why most of his clips were at wing. That makes a lot of sense
Let's just say, George played in the back line.
Wherever you need him to be.
An all around player!
fantastic video - I love your insights into the skills on show and really interesting seeing how you're incorporating your american football knowledge and applying it to rugby
I appreciate you Luke. Thank you for your kind words and compliment. It means a lot 🙌🏽
George is a welsh legend 👑
100%
You bring a lot of insight and nous to the method of running, clearly learnt from playing American Football. It is extremely interesting and the things you highlight are not usually discussed on other channels. You'd make a cracking coach I think bud 👍
Thanks so much Joe! That really means a lot. I appreciate you!
Great career... What a player!
100% Michael!
Would love to see a Peter O' Mahony video in the future please!
I will def check out Peter O'Mahony
Try doing a reaction to Damian Willemse... Man has excellent footwork and vision and is a highly versatile player for RSA
I have Damian Willemse on the list for sure Michael!
I worried for a while about him. There was a period not long after he had started where he got knocked out a few times in what felt like a short time.
Yeah concussions are so rough and take years off of your career for sure
George north was a beast sometimes his hands would let him down so he couldn't of transitioned to NFL as well as lrz may do, also you love watching players break ankles see if you can find a Shane williams compilation he broke ankles for fun and retired the year he just beat his own 40 yard sprint record 👍
That makes a lot of sense Richard. I'm for sure checking out Shane Williams. Thanks for the recommendation
@@QSNgg no problem he was small but seriously rapid and his steps are legendary record try scorer for Wales 👌
He's played centre the last few years. He's a much better wing, doesn't have the defensive attributes for a good outside centre. A lot of it probably caused by a lack of players / talent in Wales currently in the centre
That makes a lot of sense Flanker. I was wondering why he was wing in most of the clips instead of centre
Italy are only now beginning to emerge with a greater depth of player talent to be able to challenge in the six Nations… But for the previous 20 years when they were starved of depth they did have one superstar… For me, probably, the best number 8 to play the game; the one and only Sergio Parisse
Here is one of his highlight reels.
ruclips.net/video/SS5Bch84UF0/видео.htmlsi=EIXVses9Z3XRUSR-
Thanks for letting me know about Sergio Parisse! I'll check him out Roberto
Hey nice video, you should watch some highlights of Virimi Vakatawa also an amazing athletes in rugby 7 and 15
I'll definitely check out Virimi! Thanks for the recommendation Antoine
NOR is Northampton Saints
Thanks for letting me know it's Northampton
I am sexually attracted to Gerorge Norths thighs. Gorgeous George's thighs of Wales as the legend Eddie Buttler (RIP) once said.
Man I am not looking forward to this final game, the man will always be a LEGEND in Wales. When it says "born in England" its a little missleading, hes a fluent Welsh speaker and Welshman through and through.
Its kind of unbelievable that he has chosen to retire, I wonder what bought it on, he could have easily made it to the next world cup
🤣🤣 the thighs comment cracked me up Bertie!
That’s a grubber kick not a chip and chase
Thanks for letting me know
If you like players that can ankle break and cut about check out Shane Williams. Also have a look at the scariest French player Sebastien Chabal
I'm 100% checking out Shane Willams and Sebastien Chabal! Thanks for the recommendations
In the latest kicker combine (nfl uk video) The IPP took part. Can’t find anything on how they did, how did they compare with us guys ? Seems they were up against 6 guys ? Can we have some running commentary on the IPP? Seems we are see the documentary’s but have zero clue how the guys performed stats wise
I'll do more on IPP and updates Bob. I'll find out whats going on w/ their progess
Please can we get your thoughts on the NFL uk pathway videos on you tube . Need some help on the process
I'll for sure catch up on the NFL pathway Bob
I've noticed you using the word "offload" a lot and, even though english isn't my native language and this is a very specific sport's term, I do believe on some instances, you are using it wrong. To my understanding, "offload" is used only when talking about a pass happening AFTER contact has been made with one or more defenders. Otherwise it's just a simple pass. ^^
Do check that information with native speakers though. I ckecked on WordReference but the sports version of the meaning isn't listed on it.
Thanks for letting me know that Leslie! I'm sure I'm using some wrong terms here and there for sure. I'll check out more rugby dictionary as well
Most perceptive American I’ve seen watch rugby gg
Thanks so much Giffers! I really appreciate you! 🙌🏽
We need jerry tuwai😢
I will for sure check out Jerry Tuwai
please react to 100 Biggest Hits of all time All Time ( NRL)- GGOA clips, trust bro you wont regret it
I will check those big hits out for sure
NOR stands for Northampton
Thanks for letting me know that Thomas!
he did suffer a few concussions in his career.
Concussions are the worst
Your comments on his size and in particular legs make me laugh, largely because his wife is a world champion and olympic silver medalist cyclist... no pressure on their kids lol
hahah no pressure is right!! Those kids have the genetics without a doubt 🤣
Not gonna lie, George should've retired earlier with the amount of knockouts hes had but time will tell what kind of damage it has done.
It's telling that he retired 1 day before the first rugby concussion death.
@@marksellers665 Are you talking about Billy Guyton? Or is there another player I haven't heard of yet? The findings from the studies of Billy's brain are extremely concerning, and I wonder how much the stage 2 CTE was already affecting his day to day existence? Potentially leading to what sounds like his decision to take his own life. It is a travesty that what is essentially done for our entertainment, should result in such heartbreak and pain.
@@Joe07hc yes I didn't realise he died a while back or the circumstance.
@@marksellers665 Last May I believe, but like you I only heard about it the other day. Sadly, I think there will be many more like him in the coming years.
That's sad he suffered so many head injuries
nor norwich
I saw that NOR - Northampton Saints
Nor = Northampton
Thanks for that Joe!
