Amazing how the refs will not call illegal serves. The top of the paddle is above the wrist on almost every serve by one of the players and by one of the others on occasion. And they need to have some type of dress code.
Agreed--one of those signs that it's not yet a mature sport. No way in hell that would be permitted in badminton. I'd expect it gets clamped down on in the next few years--it's a massive exploit.

i wish whoever films these games, would give us, the spectators, the angle from the side. you don't learn anything when you're watching it from the back of one side of the court. THE SIDE ANGLE! THAT'S WHERE IT'S AT.

I noticed the serves too. It's a bit hard to call given how quick the motion is, but it certainly looked illegal.
