Printed robots with bones, ligaments and tendons

For the first time, researchers have succeeded in printing a robotic hand with bones, ligaments and tendons made of different polymers using a new laser scanning technique.

Imagine this robot hand with an AI powered control system that can compensate for the less predictable nature of soft robotics to produce precise movements and automatically adapt to any changes (e.g. gloves).
