After listening to the original arcade version, I have to give these guys props for matching the instruments as close as possible to the arcade version, given the limitations imposed upon them from the SNES. They pretty much nailed it.

No blood is no problem for me, Sub-Zero's and Rayden's altered fatalities look even better than the arcade originals and the if you got used to the input lag, the game plays just fine. Graphics and sound are so much better and much more true to the arcade than the Megadrive-MK.

It had humor, considerably good acting well...pretty much everything to entertain you and still people complain WOW! just wow!...The only reason, that this movie is not considered as GREAT computer game adaptation, is that by today's standards fighting scenes choreography and actor's acting as well as some characters outfits look somewhat dated and silly! But back then there were no such complains and i STILL CANNOT see what is the problem! I like how Goro looks, i like outfits of all ninjas from that movie, i liked that "silly"choreography and i sure as hell liked actors' acting! But oh well...seems like i cannot convince people to my way of thinking, gotta try and think outside your box sometimes, could be fun eh?...

Skyrilla , It was sweat. The SNES version got heavily censored and caused an uproar. They responded by releasing MK II uncut and started releasing edgier stuff in general with the age ratings.
Musaid Abdullah Reptile is deadly in the right players hands. Personally my other good Kombatants are Baraka, Kabal, Sonya, and Jade. Lately I've been playing where if I win with a character, I pick somebody else for the next match. It helps me get even practice for people.

Funny thing, times were simpler. 7 fighters, was more than enough to satisfy gamers. Nowadays if someone saw a fighting game with only 7 characters... better watch out! People today cannot be happy with what they were offered.
I think the super Nintendo did a great job of theme music for a lot of different games compared to other systems versions of music and this is one of them.

The SNES music hardware was actually superior to the arcade MK1, which was heavily FM synth based.

Played every version of this game for the most part barring the master system version. Still say say SNES had the best soundtrack.
