Glad your channel is talking about how to and such. Learned more here then almost any channel. I hate the clickbait channels that have dumb stuff and hardly any fishing or gear review etc.
Big EZ on a Gambler hook with an added Owner large spring. That's one of my FLORIDA go-to choices too. I love those hooks ... they're actually made by Mustad and sold by Gambler. Fave Florida Color choice New Shad Big EZ. Fave FL plasitics... Senko, fluke, trick worm, speed worm, ribbon tail, TX rigged weightless or light weight. And of course my Stanley Wedge Spinnerbaits. Those kill it in grass. I need to throw the chatterbait more. Haven't caught much on it this year. Thanks for sharing your Florida choices. Gives me reassurance that we have some in common.
Gene, congrats on your tournament winnings. $1600 is good any day. I’m blessed to live and fish in some of central Florida’s finest lakes and I can attest to the giants you talk about and even use some of the same lures you mentioned . Good stuff always!
Just got back from Florida from a great trip. Used most of these techniques and couldn’t agree more. I’ll keep the Gamblers and 13s in mind next time I head that way. Thanks for the great video!
Nother great video, thanks for all the info. Your channel is so informative I’ve picked up so many tips and tactics. And thanks for the wing sauce recipe Friday night before last on the lifestream, Man your sauce knocks it out of the park, thanks for sharing
I really wish we could get more Florida-specific advice on bass fishing in general. We are in a pretty unique situation, and what works for the rest of the country doesn't necessarily work here, or work the same.
love this video. I can't say how many people tell me to throw green pumpkin down here lol I almost never do. Actually I just started throwing zoom's junebug red which is like between black and blue and junebug but it has red flake. They've been munching that so much I think its my new fav color with black and blue.
Hey Gene, This is off of the subject of this video but I have a Raymarine Element like you use on your kayak, I have it in a kayak also, and have had trouble getting lined up to get back to a waypoint. As in it will act like the map isn't refreshing fast enough. you have talked about it in some of your videos. A Raymarine tech told me to go to the very top left hand corner of the home screen where the gps coordinates are and highlight it with the track pad and hit ok. It will take you to a satellite page, toggle over to settings and there will be a COG/SOG filter. It defaults to medium, set it to low for use in a kayak. It should make it work better to line up with a waypoint. I hope this helps.
This is it. Thank you for sharing TRUE KNOWLEDGE about Florida fishing. You’re right bass here are finicky and picky and slow to react. I think that had to do with their reaction to constant fisherman exposure (as there’s lots of fish and lots of bodies of water ect ect) but bass almost know the bait is natural or not natural lol. Thanks for the tips! -St,Cloud, FL, 34744 let’s fish sometime !
I grew up on east lake Toho. Add white zoom horny toads with a red hook next time you go to Florida to your list. The bait I had the most luck with over the years and it’s fun to watch an aggressive fish jump through the pads after it
Good video GENE!!! I have one question for you on your Senko hook-up, do you run your hook through the shrink tubing or under it like under an " O " ring? I find that pre-punching a hole through it with a knife point keeps from dulling the hook so much and still holds on really well!!!
I like the keitech, but I prefer the skinny Dipper or gambler here because they hold up fishing through the grass better. The keitech tail rips off within 5 casts in the eel grass and ripping through hydrilla
You should stick with Gambler and try out their fat ace- tear 1/3rd of it off and stick it on a Nichols Mag. Ned head. I picked it up watching Mikey Ballz but it really works- Mikey knows his stuff when it comes to fish in the southeastern US. I used to watch Tacticalbassin a great deal and follow their advice and bait choices- still do to a great degree but, MIkey seems to understand where I live (Alabama) better then they do. I know all bass act the same and like the same things generally speaking but- every geographic location has it's own little details, nuances- and if you get them right instead of having a good day you'll have a great day.
Almost competed in my first tournament a few weeks ago but decided it was too last minute. I find out the next day Flukemaster was in the tournament and hung around afterwards. Very disappointed to say the least😂
I love your channel but everything you advertise is really expensive. If I were to bring this to Florida I would need to get atleast 1000 in Rods and another couple hundred in baits.
You’ve honestly been the best youtuber for knowledge. I have caught so many bass because of this guy.
I appreciate that!

Ever tried the Big Bite Baits YoMama? It’s great for punching.
Not in Florida. But seeing as how guntersville has Florida strain bass, I'm gonna apply these at the big G. Thanks Gene!
I love grass fishing!! You need to the new p line sinker stops that come in black and green pumpkin and the new p line punch stops.
Yes Master.............

Nice advice about the hear shrink. I’m about to order some now.
Great!
I'm heading to Okeechobee on the 20th. Perfect timing!
Hurry up every 1 else is floating down there also .. Okeechobee is not what it use to be.
I used your technique for my dingers..absolutely works..I’ve tried every wacky hook made and found the 2/0 trokar Weedless is best..for me

Great to hear!
You're DEFINITELY my favorite fishing youtuber... keep up the great work and content 🎣
I appreciate that!
@@Flukemaster definitely
Great stuff. Only thing I’d add is a prop bait.
I agree. I have a box of them but have never tied one on.
Looking forward to the Senko "shring wrap" video))

I'm from Orlando and I can't catch nothing over 2lb it's Hard out here.
Any ideas for early fall fishing in the Big O

Could you do a review video on the in motorguide thats on your boat? Its the motorguide with spot lock correct?
Great video thx Fluke 👍
Always enjoying the tips. 👍
Thanks 👍
Can’t leave Bass Assassin out of the game. Their RSB worm is one of the best swimming/speed worms I’ve used the past year.
I live in FL
I'm actually editing right now took a break to watch your video!
As a relatively new Florida bass Angler. Who should I follow besides you of course lol

Which 13 fishing color is the Junebug? Is the the one called “blueberry yum yum” or “Witches Brew”?
Phenomenal tips as always! What colors do you like in the gambler big EZ
Copperfield
@@Flukemaster thanks
Is that the color that disappears??.
I need this, I’m taking a trip to FL in april
No keitech fat impact? Why do you like the gambler better? Thanks

Make a video on the wacky technique you talked about in this video
Will do
Where do you find the screw locks?

Nicceee vid !!
I caught my biggest Florida bass on a buzz bait
Nice
Square bill, lipless crank and the spinnerbait kills in florida fall thru winter .
Suprised a spinnerbait wasn't mentioned....
I fish a spinnerbait here in Florida all the time but most anglers here stick with soft plastics..
Yo fluke master am I first????
I think you are
