Fair trials and proper justice principles are a must in any free society. It sucks when a guilty person goes free because the trial was not 100% by the book, but one has to remember that insecure convictions create a dangerous precedent.
Great show
I've read plenty of Canadian cases where such evidence is allowed, particularly in judge-only cases. Juries aren't supposed to hear such evidence, but when (bad) judges do it can mean an irreversible wrongful conviction for the innocent accused in Canada.
Good video
Fair trial is a setback to some people...
But even if you don't like the guy, even if their guilt seems blatantly obvious... they still deserve a fair trial, competent defense and their proverbial day in court.
And people should also remember it's not illegal to be an a-hole.
Good Evening Everyone!
How about a little bit less rambling and a bit more order? The illogical meandering and rambling does not install confidence in your lawyering.
