      Great stuff. Do you have any videos or resources that can help me with my disc herniation (L4 L5 S1)? I really miss deadlifts and squats. The numbness and pain has reduced now. Please suggest workouts that don’t cause spinal flexion.

    Morning: dynamic flexibility
    Post workout: loaded flexibility like splits, pike, weighted mobility as in jefferson curls
    Before bed: static flexibility as in yoga

    There is nothing better than that loose feeling you get after a good mobility/flexibility session. I do mobility/flexibility work throughout the day. It serves well as a study break, for example.

    Best times of day for me to stretch are when I'm stoned or tripping. The latter substance allows me to open up bound areas in my spinal canal and leads to permanent changes in my mobility. it's just... super freaking intense.

  • @cecilyplum845
    @cecilyplum845 6 лет назад

    I was wondering if you had any advice for people who have different flexibility levels on different sides of their body, for example due to an injury? Specifically for symmetrical movements, where the maximum on one side doesn’t fully engage the other side.

    • @meirknapp
      @meirknapp 6 лет назад

      I would say you just spend more time stretching the side that's less flexible, though, if that isn't correct, I would also like to know the answer to this question

    • @BodyweightWarrior
      @BodyweightWarrior  5 лет назад

      M M i have but hormonal rhythms don’t change, just the timing of them will (ie later or earlier). This means that CNS response will be similar for everyone (with a couple hour variance) and therefore I think this guideline would be effective for most. But it’s a valid point
