My father gave me a Bullworker when I was a teenager, many years ago. It became one of those items that mysteriously disappeared during my divorce. About five years ago I started wondering if they still made those things. They do and I bought one. I think about my Dad when I use it.
I have and use both the Bullworker and Isochain regularly in combination with body and free weights. One thing I’ve noticed between the two is that I’m often more fatigued by an extra day or two after using the Isochain, I can use the Bullworker more frequently and it’s even more convenient! Both are awesome for quick workouts for a very busy lifestyle
@@NoLimitSquad Do basically same full body workout when ever I need to get one in. Again busy dad and corp job. Only leg exercise I use with it is the split squat, which isnt bad. 2* reps of 3-5 compressions into a 6 sec hold, Split squat -> Seated row, single arm lat pull down, chest variations, shoulder variations, bicep variations, kneeled Tricep pull down, then wrap up with kneeled Ab / Oblique crunches. Takes about 12 mins
Also what’s great about these isometric tools is that my young kids jump in and will hit a fun exercise with dad, and I’m not too worried about them hurting themselves compared to weights
You don’t have to be able to read the scale to see if you are at 60% max effort. Just move the slider to the 60% position and then you just have to see if you are compressing it enough to touch the slider.
I highly recommend checking out the channel Machsimo where he covers everything in depth on the Bullworker product from 30 day challenges to routines for the Bullworker designed to get results. Here is his link! ruclips.net/video/z-RFAodJihw/видео.html
How does yielding isometric cause so much hypertrophy in intermediate muscle fibers I mean if you do powerlifting it causes hypertrophy in intermediate muscle fibers but not to extend yielding isometrics does and also are there any other exercises that will increase intermediate muscle fiber hypertrophy as much as yielding isometrics
Great vid!....I have the older X5 model. Its 36" and has duel flexible nylon straps on both sides. Really adds to variety of exercises you can do and more much more leg work. Also has the number unit scale for prog overload. I found it on e-bay for $75 like new. only comes with the 1 build in spring but is strong as hell
I almost bought one of these this week but wasnt sure. Now i know to get one. I have similar devices though. Looking into this, tungsten balls, and iron neck. Once i have those i will have my complete home gym
I have one of the originals with the hardest spring which was the only one there was available.... I still use it to get that extra pump... Its 50 years old and I'm 71!! ...For legs the wall squat push is my favorite leg Iso... I can still do 100 full squats, but now I do them slowly to get the extra "burn" ... I still have 25 inch thighs... 😏🤫 I got the Bullworker from my time in the military as nobody was using it!! ... Best thing I ever got free!!
Hello. I have had the original Bullworker from the 1970's. I seem to have lost it but purchased the X5 version a few months ago. But I have One problem with it. I am only 5'5" and my arm span is not that wide. So many exercises are a bit awkward to do. I have seen the steel bow as you are using BUT I think it is a bit too small for full range of motion. I am interested in the 28" version called the X5 PRO that also comes with a variety of springs. Can you tell me if that version is Ok for a person of my size etc. It is quite costly, but I want to purchase the correct one. Thank you for all your videos.
Is there any reason not to combine Bullworker, OI, Calisthenics and classic barbell sets in one workout? I do it because I enjoy it, but it would be nice to know if I prevent myself from gettin gains.
Hey man, theres no reason not to do all that in one workout if anything its training the human body in multiple planes of movement and humans are supposed to be strong in many different phases of movement. So theres nothing wrong it it wont prevent yourself from getting gains but if anything time its the order of the exercises your doing; start with the OI or bull worker first cause these two need maximum force and that usually done when the body isnt tired from training, and then do calishtenics or barbell id say do calisthenics first because calisthenics is good for joint health and can warm up the joints really well and barbell doesnt warm it up aswell so itd be better to do calishtenics first.
Ease into your isometric holds with the Bullworker. Slowly pull and push until maximun contraction. Hold then release slowly. Never hold your breath....if you want to use it the proper way that is😉
@@NoLimitSquad it’s a push-up board it works out your triceps shoulder and chest and your back. I feel like there a way to include overcoming isometric. I have the board for myself I’m thinking about trying it out
As long as the duration is enough. However after awhile, your body may be looking for heavier loads for progressive overload. Weighted vests may be the optimum move when that times comes
New-ish material, to keep the channel going, isn't a bad thing. Moreover, I love the Bull Worker Products, I own 3, all of them, different types of Bull Workers, as well as the Iso Flows.

Hey I got a question about eccentric exercise does being naturally flexible make you better at eccentric exercise from the beginning
The bioneer also talks about eccentric exercise and the benefits of it
You should watch that video I'll send the name of it to you
A technique for longer muscle fibers to access untappd athletic potential

I'd love to get your thoughts on the isophit home unit. You can't track force, but it seems like there's a ton you can do with it.

Can you review the Isokinator made by Koelbel?
Yup! IsoFlow is coming soon also!
What are the supposed benefits of both of those?
@@NoLimitSquad Definitely looking forward to it, thanks bro.
I have a bullworker, I never really took it seriously. But you think I can build muscle and fast twitch muscles fibers with this thing?

Will bodyweight isometrics do the job/get most of the benefits?
