nah it's a good show, problem is it wasn't originally meant to be a sitcom, the creator Alex Lippman originally intended the show to be more a single-camera slice-of-life comedy-drama like other Nick shows such as Pete and Pete, Nick execs forced him to turn it into a sitcom which the single-camera setup proved ill-suited for.
