Thanks for the video I'm beciding on that saw or a Hyundai. I have a China clone and it runs great but bits keep braking the pull start been replaced and the brake handle has now broke off. I have a Makita batt but she is only a 14 inch.

The "chainsaw gloves" are funny, i used them to clear some brambles, by the end the gloves where in tatters, and my hands not much better.
Nice little machine though, it's not lacking power.

Please, please, please, never ever use a chainsaw like that! You are not wearing proper PPE, you are not using the brake when starting the chainsaw and your stance when cutting is asking for kickback leading to serious injury. Everyone please consult manuals and/or experienced individuals before using a chainsaw.

As for safety I totally agree with your views, not using the correct safety gear, and not using the safety brake when starting. I'm certainly no expert although I've used chainsaws on an odd occasion with my work. I noticed also in the video shown here that the saw was being started on a cement floor, that could have potentially made the new chain blunt had it touched the floor during starting without the safety brake on.
As for those small branches being cut, he should have had the body of the saw right up to the branch to avoid kickback.
