I love Stihl as a brand but I needed a chainsaw during lockdown and couldn't buy a Stihl as the places that sell on the face to face policy were shut! I ended up getting a Husky 440 x-torq online which is a good chainsaw but it leaks oil like a sieve unless I drain after use. I've never looked at Echo for chainsaws but after your comments on build quality and comfort I might just give them a look. I appreciate the budget brand held it's own in this test but for how long I wonder? I think the Stihl performed really well in the log cut just a shame it doesn't have a priming bulb.
Do yourself a favor and buy the Echo CS590 Timberwolve. You'll thank me later, I promise. $399 with 5yr warranty and had magnesium casing, adjustable oiler, electronic ignition, decompression valve, has more torque than than Stihl and Husqvarna both due to longer stroke. Keeps same rpm all the way through the cut. Very reliable and seen them last 6 or 7 years with no issues. Add a muffler mod and remove the plastic limiters and tune it and it really opens up.. Unless going pro it's the only saw you'll ever need. Pops on 1st pull and starts on 2nd pull cold Everytime. People that pay double what the Timberwolve costs will even be impressed, really impressed. The Stihl group doesn't like anyone talking about them in the group but the truth is the truth. Look them up, the echo 620 is best Echo makes for about$150 more but still cheaper than comparable brands that cost double if not more. I like Stihl Husky both but Echo Timberwolve is my favorite saw for firewood use
You dont need the primer bulb mine can sit all winter every winter with cheap gas in it and it fires up every year. All other brands forget about it. I dont know why. But that is on the stihl 170 and 180 and farm boss I can't speak for other models of stihl. 170 12 years old and starts up aways. And I know were supposed to run them dry for storage.i just never needed to yet. Even with the cheap gas we use
Primer bulbs rot out. During work simply refuel as soon as the saw shows sign of running out. I love my 500i but already bought a spare primer bulb, never had one las indefinitely.

I bought a budget saw like the green one from B&Q when I started up gardening. It was only for occasional use, and so long as it ran and cut I was happy. I hadn’t gone through the original chain in about a year of using, but the internal metal components started to break and crumble so I had to chuck it. I then decided to pay for a bit of quality and buy a Stihl MS170, as this was the only brand in my local dealership (a tool hire place that sold this sort of stuff too), it’s still going strong after ten years, even after the neglect an occasional use tool inevitably has to suffer. The guy in the store has been very helpful over the years ordering spares for my various tools as I have stayed brand loyal for the rest of my kit, the Stihl combi strimmer, hedge trimmer, blower etc. Which all fits into the boot of my Polo. I like to buy local when I can to help out the local economy.
I have used the same Husqvarna Rancher (50 cc) for over 35 years and only had minor maintenance issues. Bought a comparable Stihl 3 years ago and have had to spend over $200 on a major repair. Both are nice saws but from my small sample size I would say the Husqvarna is a better built saw.
Which is interesting. We still have 4 stihl saws in the family, from when my father and grandfather were timber cutters in the 80s and 90s. Love stihl and it has served us well
I`ve run saws for over 50yrs. I was a hardcore Stihl guy, until i tried the Echo brand. As my Stihl`s died, they are being replaced by the Echo brand. Last Echo i just bought was the CS-7310P. You want a real good balanced SMOOTH AS SILK running chainsaw, buy the Echo saws. You will be impressed with how smooth and balanced they really are. And they start right up easily! No buzzing in your hands while cutting wood either! No more Stihl`s for me. As a matter of fact, i`m still using my Echo GT-1000 weed eater that i bought over 35yrs ago. Never been torn down, fixed or repaired of any kind, and i`m still using it. THAT is what you call quality that will last you a very long time! There chainsaws are super quality. I have ZERO regrets switching brands!
No worries, we would love to do more with Echo products in future videos. We are huge fans, I’ve tried a couple time with the U.K. distributor FGM but they don’t seem that interested. We work closely with the other two quite frequently so it would be nice to include you. If this would be something you were interested in please email contact@machinery-nation.com Cheers, James
Gotta love how he mentioned the 4310SX having the best power to weight in this comparison when the 4310SX actually has the best power to weight out of the factory compared to ANY saw in the world.
I bought almost exact Chinese saw 9yrs ago, I needed something I would use couple of times a year. It works the same as 1st day I bought it, the chain was crap so I replaced it with Stihl made but other than that no issues whatsoever. It has been super reliable so far
I have a 023 Stihl from 1999. I am very happy with that saw with 40cc. And guys, please do not buy a cheap saw, because they are made for throwing away.
Fantastic, very informative review guys on these saws. I thought the Stihl’s engine note remained more consistent throughout the cut and looked at its ease. Stihl MS 231, How Sweet The Sound 😊 !!!
I have a Proyama chainsaw, and I will say that this Proyama chainsaw is better than my Stihl and Husqvarna ones. It has plenty of power and it's easy to maintain. There's no kickback at all and even with the included chain it cut pretty quick and very clean. using the included chains I cut some pretty large logs. It's certainly not light and could probably be a little better balance but I don't do this for a living so I'm fine with it. The two bars are a very well built and very sturdy. Idle is perfect out of the box. Chain brake works and is essential. The included safety equipment actually does a good job. The ear muffs and face mask are not the best quality material but they both will certainly protect your hearing and most definitely your face from flying chips. The face mask screen unexpectedly heavy duty. The gloves at best will keep any sweat off your hands and prevent it from slipping. The gas can is very handy! I can't speak for professional use but I will say I highly recommend this Proyama saw for home use and I would most certainly get one again if I needed. The value of this chainsaw is amazing and takes less than 1/2 of the name brands and does just as good or better job.
My B&Q saw has done me sterling service cutting our yearly logs for over 10 years now. It doesn't bog down like the one in your tests either. I just give each chain tooth 4 swipes with a proper file before I put it away. I change the pipework every other year and it's still running on it's original plug..! I paid £79 for mine back in the day and it has always started reliably. I would just buy another if it wasn't repairable one day, the price of the other saws on test were outrageous, one 7 times as much. I can see a pro forest worker needing the best to save face but my cheap Chinese petrol garden tools just keep on going...👍
Priming doesn't happen anymore due to emission restrictions, etc. There are some older lawn mower engines that still have it, but most of those parts are no longer available when something fails. No company that is run in the western world by American, Japanese, German, or other European regulations is using an actual primer (where gas leaks all over the ground after juicing the carburetor). They are using an air purge bulb -- the only thing it does (which is important) is it removes all the air out of the fuel lines. It just makes sure the gas lines aren't feeding any air into the carb when trying to start it. That's one of the reasons we pull an extra time or two these days... we're actually priming the carb in our initial pulls, lol.
I bought the MS250 44cc but its a beast very happy with it. If you wait for a sale like I did the price was excellent and cheaper than the other two (echo, husky). I have a Echo line trimmer just amazing so would happily go for Echo as well, husky same same all 3 are awesome.
Since i went to stihl weed eaters and chain pole saw. I don't get wore out trying to start them and they don't break down or leak like my Poulan Pro. The Poulan pro chain saw or Troybuilt weed eater. The poulan Pro 20' was good for the money however. Startsright up but leaks the gas out while it sits in the case, before I can use it the next time. I'm replacing that with a Stihl.
No saw will perform its highest rpm on the first run. I figure on five tanks, at least, for the max rpm to be attained. For normal break-in I figure on 12-15 tanks.
Project farm did a nice video proving a friend of mines theory on Stihl chain being the sharpest which I think greatly aided the Stihls performance on your test. Good video guys.
TheHusky saws start easily when cold but can be hard to start when hot. They’re good homeowner grade saws but have some issues. The chain brake is a little wonky, the air filter is too small, and the bar oiler is prone to clogging. They cut pretty fast though.
Stihl all day every day. My father and grandfather were timber cutters in the 80s and 90s. A few of their saws are still up and running to this day. I myself have bought 2 stihl saws and they have been flawless the past 3 years. Take care of it and it will last
Analyze the performance of each chainsaw based on your cutting tests. Consider factors like the weight-to-power ratio and starting ease, as they significantly impact overall usability and efficiency. For those looking for budget options, the unknown brand performed surprisingly well given its price, suggesting that you don’t always need to spend a lot for decent performance.
Tack för denna videon med alla dessa motorsåg stihl ms 231,Husqvarna 440,echo cs - 4310sx, budget motorsåg va mycket intressant att se på tack så jättemycket för detta 👍👏👌😄
CC rating isn't what you should dwell on so much, its the kw of energy getting to the chain where a saw comes into its own.The vibration on the budget saw is something to stay away from!!! I've used saws with too much vibration and it causes numbness in my hands for months, even just using for a short amount of time.I'm not ever worried about fuel consumption.I want to get as much wood cut as quick as possible. If that means a faster saw uses more fuel,so be it.And how a saw is still running after 2000 hours of running is a big factor for me
Im not positive but i think on the stihl that the choke switch can be pushed down and pumped, my ms180 has the same setup and i came acrossed this info and need to check it out
I have a Stihl 039 that is more than 25 years old. I’m going to be using it today and it is Stihl running great. Maybe someone should do a longevity test, if that’s possible? How many of the other saws would still be running 25 years later?
I have a 4310, it comes with Oregon .325 .050 semi chisel chain. You can spec it with a 16” bar and chain which it pulls fine. When the original chain wears out I will replace it with Oregon 20LP full chisel. The nice thing with the Echo is that it comes with an Echo branded Sugihara bar.
I'd like to see the dependability test. Cheap saws start leaking fluid early and motors wear down and lose power with time. how hard are they to start after time. Sometimes you use all your energy for a job trying to start them and are too weak to use them until you rest. You lose time too.
those non branded saws can be picked up online for £60 all day long, pay a little more and you can get them included with a Oregon chain and bar, i haven't actually heard any real horror stories about them from people who actually know how to look after them. i think a lot of the horror stories are from inexperienced people who buy them for a one off job put them away for the winter with pump fuel in them and expect them to work 8 months later.
i got a 90cc chinese brand that has been running perfectly for more than 5 years.. no engine failure even i tune the revving rpm a bit higher than stock setting..
Parts availability on Chinese chainsaws has become outstanding! Everything availability and standard--I have a Chinese chainsaw that's blue, black, and orange (replacement clutch). No problems there.
Honestly. As a man doing lot wood working it surprised me that echo 361 wes could last more than 7 years. Still works great. Had 0 problems. Next saw will for sure be Echo.
Why is Echo so expensive. Here in the states Echo is cheaper than Husky and Stihl. Not surprised to see the larger cc saws use fuel a little faster. I own a few Huskies and a Stihl. My Husky 440 does not like to idle, my trusty 55 Rancher runs great. My Stihl 461 is a beast, at 76 cc’s it runs circles around the Husky’s. But I use the smaller saws to limb trees and cut wood up to 12-14”. The larger wood the MS 461 comes out and it eats wool like an angry beaver.
Not sure why they didn't grab the way cheaper cs420 semi pro echo. Mines bloody brilliant for a lifestyle blocker with occasional demanding periods. Always starts on 5th pull and never misses a beat
I have two and I enjoy working on and modifying them. It's an enjoyable hobby that I couldn't do at the price of name brand saws saddled with government regulations and mandates. I would like to point out that none of these saws are made in the US.
What was being measured at 4 minutes? Not RPM for sure. All these saws were actually running somewhere around 11 000 - 14 000 rpm while the meter shows 7100-8800.
How is it compared when you throw 1 pro series in there ?…why start off with tuning of carbs out of the box too ?…most of us will judge it out of the box anyways ..😳
Thanks Barry, I’m not sure quite what you mean. Yeah we had one pro saw with the ECHO. We tuned the saws after the first start and then let them run for a while before cutting to “run them in”. Is that what you mean?
@@MachineryNation I think majority of buyers will run it as is out of the box (I have ) and accept it as it is..they may be a percentage of people with the knowledge that it needs more carb tuning …I have bought 2 of the same brand saws within a 1 1/2 of each other ( one of the brands you tested) and it’s been at least 16 1/2 years since…only problem I’ve had was the first saw had to go back to dealer because of the ethanol gas…ever since I’ve only ran E-free changed air filters, fuel lines and filters and a oil pump several chains and a bar…never ever touched the carb on both of them…they are not pro saws and I use them on very heavy hardwood for a week and a half straight all day long every 3 months…I don’t know if that’s asking too much for a home saw but I’m really happy with them….I look at all the vids that pertains to my brand saw and it’s competition your vid is the only one I’ve seen that tuned the carb…my question is was it necessary and how far off was the factory adjustments?
@@barry8458 every saw we assemble we tune. As should any dealer in my opinion. It all depends what your air pressure is where you live. Some saws need a lot some need a little or none.
@@MachineryNation great explanation…never thought of elevation ..didn’t hear that part…can u do a segment on factory replacement bars and chains vs common aftermarket as far as quality and longevity…there is a popular brand with a combo replacement and a lot cheaper than factory …I need justification to go cheaper or otherwise 😳…tnks for the reply 👍🏼
After they were started they were tuned and left ticking over for 30 mins. We don’t show this on the video as it’s pretty boring watching saws idling but, yeah I can see why you may have cringed 😂
I have a question for you lads. I'm running a husky 365 x torq with a 20 inch bar. I got a 24 inch for it a week ago. I'm totally disappointed.its not able to run the 24 inch at all.
@@MachineryNation . thank you for your reply. I have it done.i ground out the restrictors.made little difference.it keeps boging down with the 24 inch bar.
as a general rule i buy japanese.. their stuff just works. as opposed to some euro dealership queen or american made garbage. echo has served me well can't speak for the other brands
I personally would love to own a Stihl MS241, but I have no use for it, so will have to make do with my 020, ms200, ms260, Hq 40s, Jons 2041, Partner 400, HUPAJO40 and Dolmar 118. :'-( Interesting that Brits can't pronounce complicated words such as Stihl, Husqvarna or Eichhörnchen!
If you own a woodlot, you probably have (or need) different models depending on what you are cutting. Those small 14 or 16 inch saws are fine for cutting branches or taking down 5" thick trees. But if you are dealing with a giant tree with a 30+ inch thick trunk that got blown apart by a bolt of lightening or uprooted in a storm, then you will be there for days trying to remove it with one of those small saws (one wedge at a time). Even the lower branches of such a tree can be thicker than your small saw is long. Alternatively, you have to carry and wield the thing, and if your afternoon is going to be spent just clearing brush growing up against your fence line, then a smaller lighter saw is just the ticket. A popular (in the US) small saw brand is Poulon. I tried one of those one year. It lasted from spring to fall on brush work. Sadly though the plastic casing melted near the exhaust. Shortly before I retired it, it started throwing sparks too, which is not a good thing in a forest. I have an old large McCullough that has worked well for the past 30 years for me and a few assorted Husqvarnas, I never thought of checking out what Harbor Freight carries. I need too. :)
Stihl domestic range have deteriorated in quality and have got unnecessary complex to work on. The CBE models are to be avoided. Under £500 in 2024 I recommend echo or husqvana 400 series. Pro saws from all the major manufacturers are pretty much the same.
Would someone please translate these spects. I hate metric and being force to use it. Do you know how much money it has cost mechanics and others because of this dumb rush to use metric? I worked for a company repairing CNC equipment. Then suddenly for no reason they started changing over to metric. My tool box and tools was worth over $2,300. Now I had to duplicate my tool box in metric. So that means I had to buy another $2,300 worth of tools! There was nothing wrong with having two systems. If you want to sell cars or machines in the US, then use our system.
Now test them with the same bar and chain and see if there is any difference in result. This was not fullt testing the saws per se, bar and chain makes a difference to all parameters tested, except the starting.
I know what you mean, but for this test it won’t make to much difference, we tried to get all matching bars but this is the best we could muster. Thank you for supporting 👍🏼
@@MachineryNation The length of contact area of the chain against bar remains the same throughout this test because the material thickness cut remained constant. Bar length makes scant difference. Negligible. You'd have to do a lab test to find the difference in friction between differing bar lengths. A 6 inch log is a 6 inch log whether you have a 14 or 36 inch bar.
Petrol saws are a waste of time unless using professionally every day. Better off with a battery saw or even battery recip saw with a wood blade. Way more reliable/less hastle and future proof
I believe there's a bit of bias here , being a cheap saw the attention to detail on tune and chain sharpness was not as keen ! You better get used to the more affordable petrol tools , the manufacturing of Stihl and Husqvarna gas saws are going away in lieu of battery !

Fools aye? 😂 I’ve been to their factory in Waiblingen, Germany and they make a lot more models than that there. Also we never said the saw was made in Germany, we said representing Germany, Stihl is a German brand. Their components are produced across a global platform of factories eg. cylinders and pistons from Brazil, carburettor’s from China and chains/bars from Switzerland and then a majority of their products are assembled in their German plant or their Virginia Beach plant in the US. I hope this helps 👍🏼
The green is a winner, you can port the shit out of it. Ive seen guys buying 60cc saw from china for 100 euros and they played with it a little. Tomorrow that saw crushed the stihl ms400 haha. Ofcourse, its crap, but speedwise and if you need it twice a year or if you need it for your firewood, then the green is a best choice. Informative and convincing presentation. 1 like.
i work in a place where we sell echo´s, bought my self echo cs4510, almost the same saw as we see in this video, love it!, my second echo and not last
Thanks for what ya'll do and the way ya'll do it .
No saw will perform its highest rpm on the first run. I figure on five tanks, at least, for the max rpm to be attained. For normal break-in I figure on 12-15 tanks.
Ima husky man myself but that echo looks very nice! 👍
Cheers Harri, it is a nice saw 👍🏼
I really like the husky and the stihl😊
Project farm did a nice video proving a friend of mines theory on Stihl chain being the sharpest which I think greatly aided the Stihls performance on your test. Good video guys.
G day from Ontario. Wasn't stihl chain oregon chain, I forgot. I do remember oregon chain coming from our area Guelph Ont. Thanks
Loved this video! Any plans with other cc classes (various small and large top handles, 50cc, 60cc, 70cc, etc?)
Thank you, hopefully similar videos in the pipe line 👍🏼
I ported a 4310sx what little monster I love it
I’ve come across complaints from 2-3 people, that the oil pump doesn’t last well on the Husky 440.
Stihl loving my Husqvarna 455 Rancher! Not a pro saw but does everything I need!
TheHusky saws start easily when cold but can be hard to start when hot. They’re good homeowner grade saws but have some issues. The chain brake is a little wonky, the air filter is too small, and the bar oiler is prone to clogging. They cut pretty fast though.
Thanks!
AWESOME video as usual guys.....
Thank you Steve 🤩
Great video guys, fair and honest! 5*
Cheers dude, we like this style 👍🏼
Have a Husky 135 mk2 and its very good for 38.2 cc but still need my trusty Husky 372cc saw,
one of the best made...
If that means a faster saw uses more fuel,so be it.And how a saw is still running after 2000 hours of running is a big factor for me
Im not positive but i think on the stihl that the choke switch can be pushed down and pumped, my ms180 has the same setup and i came acrossed this info and need to check it out
did you say you tuned them? husqy sounded terrible in log test
Nice Test guys Thanks
Thank you Darren 😎
I have a Stihl 039 that is more than 25 years old. I’m going to be using it today and it is Stihl running great. Maybe someone should do a longevity test, if that’s possible? How many of the other saws would still be running 25 years later?
You are big help .appreciated
I bought my self a Ryobi 4016 . Good chainsaw I am from Namibia
Nice comparison on the four saws but where in the heck was Norman today, he's my hero..... well besides Josh, Ryan and Will. 🙂👍
Norman is on holiday this week in the south of France but will be returning next week 😂
LoL, yay!! 🤣
I like the look of that 4310, just can’t get my hands on one to demo here in Ireland the moment. What chains were the saws running?
I have a 4310, it comes with Oregon .325 .050 semi chisel chain. You can spec it with a 16” bar and chain which it pulls fine. When the original chain wears out I will replace it with Oregon 20LP full chisel. The nice thing with the Echo is that it comes with an Echo branded Sugihara bar.
Hm, doesn't sound like the Hva revs properly before the cutting test. Rematch!
Considering the budget saw is only £80 odd pounds, it puts the others to shame, it wasn't that far behind. These saws get better once bedded in.
when starting the stihl chainsaw u should hold the chain brake back then its would start easier
Try the old 60s Solo Rex. Damn beast
That Husqvarna needs tuned, it sounds way off compared to mine rpm wise
must be something to do with carburetter with fuel consumming
I'd like to see the dependability test. Cheap saws start leaking fluid early and motors wear down and lose power with time. how hard are they to start after time. Sometimes you use all your energy for a job trying to start them and are too weak to use them until you rest. You lose time too.
those non branded saws can be picked up online for £60 all day long, pay a little more and you can get them included with a Oregon chain and bar, i haven't actually heard any real horror stories about them from people who actually know how to look after them. i think a lot of the horror stories are from inexperienced people who buy them for a one off job put them away for the winter with pump fuel in them and expect them to work 8 months later.
i got a 90cc chinese brand that
has been running perfectly for more than 5 years.. no engine failure even i tune the revving rpm a bit higher than stock setting..
husqvarna is the king
Parts availability on Chinese chainsaws has become outstanding! Everything availability and standard--I have a Chinese chainsaw that's blue, black, and orange (replacement clutch). No problems there.
Ideal 👍🏼
The china saw equals out to $101 USD. I’d say not bad for a budget saw
A great video, love my Stihl. Cheers!
Thank you Garrett. 🥳
ECHO forever.
It was the pro version
Same here in Australia Japan is so close yet the echo brand is soooo expensive doesn't make sense
Not sure why they didn't grab the way cheaper cs420 semi pro echo. Mines bloody brilliant for a lifestyle blocker with occasional demanding periods. Always starts on 5th pull and never misses a beat
Do not buy a Chinese saw, period. They are cheap sure but do you realize quality is mediocre and think about where your money is going.
Yeah , great philosophy there .. considering your options are soon to be completely limited to battery or cheaper clones that work !
Got a wemars it's good runs good and strong
I have two and I enjoy working on and modifying them. It's an enjoyable hobby that I couldn't do at the price of name brand saws saddled with government regulations and mandates. I would like to point out that none of these saws are made in the US.
Bro chain saws. Aren’t cheap there great that’s what they are worth it especially sthil
Maybe the big companies should bring back value.
Can anyone recommend a good Echo dealer that ships across the "pond"?
What was being measured at 4 minutes? Not RPM for sure. All these saws were actually running somewhere around 11 000 - 14 000 rpm while the meter shows 7100-8800.
These are 40cc saws, so that is about right.
what about makita {sachs dolmar}
No longer made, Makita ended them to push their battery saws
EA4300 / PS421 is an excellent little saw if you can find one
No matter what brand some are going to like it and outhers wont
Try The stihl ms 261
They are lovely saws and we have featured them in previous videos but it’s 50.2cc so not comparable in this test 👍🏼
can't just be me that cringed at running the saws at full throttle when they've not had enough tanks of fuel through
After they were started they were tuned and left ticking over for 30 mins.
You could upgrade your 365 to a 372? We have a video on that 👍🏼
@@MachineryNation . thank you for your reply. I have it done.i ground out the restrictors.made little difference.it keeps boging down with the 24 inch bar.
@@h.m.a.2037 no worries, have you changed the cylinder and piston to a 372?
@@MachineryNation . No I haven't. Isn't it 70.7 CC the same as the 372 xp x torq. I just ground out the restrictors.
@@h.m.a.2037 take a look at our video, Ryan done this one and I can’t remember without watching 😂😂
as a general rule i buy japanese.. their stuff just works. as opposed to some euro dealership queen or american made garbage. echo has served me well can't speak for the other brands
You could start selling wooden drink coasters after this.
I personally would love to own a Stihl MS241, but I have no use for it, so will have to make do with my 020, ms200, ms260, Hq 40s, Jons 2041, Partner 400, HUPAJO40 and Dolmar 118. :'-(
Interesting that Brits can't pronounce complicated words such as Stihl, Husqvarna or Eichhörnchen!
The just comparison between Husqvarna and Stihl : Husqvarna 543Xp professional/ Stihl Ms 231 professional. Husqvarna 440 not professional.
I need too. :)
budget saw was impressing 84 eurs who needs spare parts just buy another one still works out 300 cheaper
Stihl domestic range have deteriorated in quality and have got unnecessary complex to work on. The CBE models are to be avoided. Under £500 in 2024 I recommend echo or husqvana 400 series. Pro saws from all the major manufacturers are pretty much the same.
I’m a stihl man. My self
Awesome Busa 👍🏼
Anything under 60cc is a butter knife.
Pretty much 😂😂
The 261 in the 50cc class is the smallest I’d consider unless we are talking top handles and climbing. 500i with a 28” is my daily driver.
Who won?
Who do you think won?
Your bars are so small overseas. How cute. I guess you can set those next to your 400 psi air rifles when you're done eh? LMAO
Stihl rule
It’s a great point John, and refreshing to hear compared to the petrol heads we get on our battery videos hahaha 😂😂
Ah no battery saws are garbage.
No, it is just you do not know what you are doing with a petrol one..
@@caerleon87 of course - I also have a tiny litte willy and yours is obviously huge!! Shame it's on your forehead though!
@@johnloran Oh look, showing your intelligence. Would not have expected much different..
Anyone from the UK willing to ship a echo 4310sx to me in the US?
Me first!!! lol
Stihl is the best no surprise
Amazing 🤩
i would give echo last place
I believe there's a bit of bias here , being a cheap saw the attention to detail on tune and chain sharpness was not as keen ! You better get used to the more affordable petrol tools , the manufacturing of Stihl and Husqvarna gas saws are going away in lieu of battery !
From this side o' the pond I have a question for ya... what the hell is a quinn? lol
I believe the term was quid - which is slang for pound sterling...much like 'bucks' or 'greenback'...I am from Canada where we have loonies and toonies lol
I'm hesitant to buy something that's both cheap and dangerous.
I’m a sthil man my self
Awesome Busa 👍🏼
Does anyone really consider fuel consumption of a chainsaw? A liter of fuel will take down and dismantle an average tree.
you didnt do safety of saws

2 strk engines must be tuned. If you don't your test is a complete waste of time
not a valid comparison, you need: cs-4310sx, ms241, 543xp
It was more about a price range comparison rather than a direct comparison 👍🏼
I have a Trimtech and it's the worst product ever. It has no power and can't get though even the most regular logs. It leaks everywhere too. Don't buy budget.

Representing Germany 😂
Even y'all fools don't know. That every model except the 500i and 661 880 are made and assembled in CHINA
I have makita, which is also a good but much cheaper saw than the big3.
This not good chainshaws very weak a amateaur beginner chainsaw. I have Stihl 880 and Stihl 171 this more better. Because I know cut very big woods trees and I know cut smaller woods trees too. Husquarna very not good I listen vers much crash stories
