Get another Vanford mate. 5000 possibly. I know you’re seeking for shimano but, try the Samaki Zing. I have a 7 foot baitcaster that you’d love it. And I used to have other 2 Zing rod for shore jigging. Perfect rods! Around 200/250$ mark

Btw, 200 reel isn't BFS. Eventually if you want to get a smaller reel and you are a Shimano guy you could get an Aldebaran. Can cast 1/16 no prob
