I have this theory that after Bee's vocalizers were fixed at the end of the first movie, he re-mutilated himself because the radio talking thing was his single quirky characteristic that made him an individual, and he was afraid that losing that would make Sam lose interest in him.
I actually really like this figure. Probably the best of this BB's transformation style of the four movies so far. It's easy to transform, no mechtech and automorph bullcrap, the articulation in robot mode is solid and over all he looks good. As simplified as the figure is compared to previous movie BB's I actually like this one the best which surprised the HELL out of me.
This is the mode that Bumblebee takes on to greet Octane in the new movie Yes, Octane is in Age of Extinction, my good father works at Michael Bay, I think I know what I'm talking about

Forgive me for bragging but I think this figure would look miles better if it had a much better paint job. Which will probably end up happening as soon as this one and the rest of the AOE figures start to show up around here.

Heavy ratchets had no place on Beast Hunters Shockwave, they have no place on this figure either. Uninspired color, uninspired transformation, no waist rotation when BOTH dinobots had one, and a sizeable backpack make both autobots a clear pass for this wave.
***** Why fundamentally hate Bumblebee? I think he was a generic hero figure in the movies and TF Prime, but I didn't hate him. I agree a Supreme (Leader if you are generous) class is the only situation where heavy ratchets make sense. They just scream laziness and cheapness in other figures.
***** Well in Prime he really didn't get much screen-time and in fact I think he got the least of the five main Autobots in that series though I will agree with that assessment with the Bay films.
When will Hasbro learn? Clear windows mean jack if there isn't an interior, and wasting all the paint budget on plastering over clear plastic is moronically inefficient.

I mean this mold is crap and after so many attempts he should by now be perfect!, I have messed with customs and cad designes and its NOT hard to design a better more accurite design ist just BULLSHIt, and oh yeah its more of a 68 ;)
