GM Performance sells a 6.6 gas crate engine iron block 523 horsepower called L8P and it makes serious torque 2400rpm - 5500rpm and redlines at around 6000rpm
The 6.6 L8P gas engine has a iron block all a LS3 or LT1 6.2 all aluminum motor needs is heads cam all matching components bolt-ons and raise compression to 13 to 1 and up and tuned on E85 with a healthy hydraulic roller from GPI GPI drop in rods and piston package but the iron 6.6 has a longer stroke crankshaft 3.86 vs the LS3 - LT1 3.64 crankshaft torque for the 6.6 will be better at lower rpm but not Rev as well it was made to move big heavy vehicles but will work great also in a Nova or something much lighter L8P crate engine is 523 horsepower 543 torque and it comes on good at 2500rpm much sooner than a built 6.2 liter does
For a 416 stroker, it should’ve been chop in a lot harder sounds pretty stock with a mild cam. You need a better tune. As well take that stupid rev limiter off.

Don't spend the 30k I got a 2022 2ss 1le for 0 down with a 3 percent interest rate on it and my monthly payment is like 906 or something dang steal of a deal and still have 30k+ in my bank just got to keep working and bringing in money also I'm the same age! Got the car about a year ago for like 60k I believe and now I owe like 47k

I put side rockers n front spoiler on it n may add a CAI later but I'm really enjoying it at the moment just rolled 2k miles.im an old fart(67) but all I've ever driven are sport cars. This one has plenty of power for me n will run faster than I wanna be in it👍👍

Cubic inches, stock is 376. So higher displacement motor. From 6.2 to about 6.6 liters. That’s more torque and since the 416 is a square size motor, it can still rev nicely.
a mustang could sometimes ‘look’ cleaner, along with other types of muscle cars. personally i would choose a 6.2L or a 6.4(dodge) which has WAY more potential off the factory lot than a 5.0 GT. Bigger engines all day for me. nice camaro brodi 😎
