  • David Lee Roth claims that his experiences working with the late Eddie Van Halen were superior to "any love affair he ever had." The 68-year-old singer reminisced about his early days in the band and spoke warmly of his collaboration with the late Eddie, the guitarist of Van Halen, on the first episode of his new podcast, The Roth Show.

    The VERY BEST OF THE BEST HITS. Was the ORIGINAL BAND! By Far David Lee Roth sang the better ULTIMATE HITS! Van Halen 1 and 2 and Fair Warning. Were way better than any songs or Albums Sammy sang in. ➕🥇🏆

    I could never understand 'Jump' out popularizing prior songs, ESPECIALLY from the first album.

      Because it was timed perfectly. They had built up and it was their most bright, fresh and most accessible song. It resonated most and lifted people's spirits. It was also a crossover song in that appealed to fans of different types of rock, electronic music, pure pop and people of all ages unlike previous releases had at that point. Plus the music video on Mtv was fun and a triumph. They had established themselves by then and primed themselves commercially, which was not the case on their first album out the gate.

    David Lee Roth sucked. I loved the music but hated him. He is awful live trying to dance. Sammy was the perfect fix

      @@Mncrr not the point-you called him ‘untalented’ which is true-Dave was an excellent songwriter. And VH sold waaaay more records with Roth-almost twice as many, actually.
      So… nice try.

      @Mncrr 3 месяца назад

      @@glengamble526 who cares. Roth is still an asshole. And to try to compare talent based on sales is misleading. Hagar is one of the great vocalists of all time and according to a documentary the Van Halen brothers didn’t think Roth was a good enough singer at first. Michael Anthony had a better voice but no front man charisma.
