- To own a firearm in Kenya, you need to be atleast 21 years of age, undergo proper training and receive a clearance certificate from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations. Despite a rigorous vetting process, firearms still end up in the wrong hands. According to the National Security Report tabled in parliament earlier this year, 650,000 illegal firearms are in circulation. How does this happen? John Allan Namu of Africa Uncensored met up with a gangster in one of Nairobi's informal settlements to find out how he acquired his firearm.
Charles owino knows how to talk that is why he is spokesman, Respect
Morality flies out the window when your stomach is touching your back
2:19. So sad. I can feel this soul came to know that the polisi mwenye alikuwa anakula na yeye alimpeana.
And that is the reason to why he/she/they can't help themselves coz they're totally corrupt.
At 4:30 naona polisi wamevaa miwani..Mimi nlifukuzwa ju sina meno huyu ataua mwizi aje
Owino has a good point. That's why police finds it easier to execute criminals than to take them to court.
Charles owino has a nice shiny gold watch
I'd start with investigating him
Or maybe you want it 🙄
Investigating officer is a D- student. Thank you, owino, for the insight there
So Allan should be a police officer as he's far much better than some of these big names talking here...
Owino is a sharp man
just watching this now, great remarks by Owino
4:26 what's the name of the song please?
YesSir John Alanam
Where is the part 2 kindly?
Aki same police we depend on for security, nkt!!!!!!corruption n greed
This is all caused by the high unemployment rate among the youths and also the low pay/ terrible living conditions among the police. The govt is to be blamed for it has failed both parties
Bring us more of this stories
Any way there are great police men out there and we celebrate them 🎊🎊🎉🎈
This us global problem, just not Africa

Waa that joanalist anyway police tumewazoea even hapa jogoo police station its like that I doubt them a lot take a case there see how they twist it
i like owinos statement
If the bridge between police who indulge in organised crime nd the upright one is thinned we would loose alot of innocent civillians due to tying of loose ends that's why the public will never rat out such crucial information
Makarao n wanyama
Mombasa Rd is killing impunity bt criminals are resting at police station having free diner.
I rather hawk potatoes than attempting to get my hands on firearm, drugs or anything illegal
Mapolice ni wakora....
Police should hastle their way to their office the sit (banned 🚫) from sitting.
Never depend on the police in kenya…..kenya is a mafioso state at the highest level

😐😐😐😐
45%😂
@4:28 Are they on fucking drugs????😐😐😐
Sloppy and laxity to sum it up is Kenya police.
Keep on protecting them ( gangsters) till one day they will come for you. Let’s see if you will be smiling.
Kenya hakuna police ni gaidi tu
This guy police spokesman, he is a total disgrace to the people. Police are charged with mandate of enforcing law not working with gangsters to rob and kill people they protect.
But he does have a very good point at the very end of the video!!!
Jeeeeez visit kenya...
@@hassankajogoo3226 really
@@Honest_Man yes. The level of education of the policemen and policewomen is very wanting. That is an admission of sorts that they, the police are incompetent based on their level of education.
@@hassankajogoo3226 I see
