What's your favourite movie in the Conjuring franchise?
How about the descent part 2?🤔😁
The first one
That's a tough question.. I'd have to say Annabelle Creation or Conjuring 2. Can't wait to see what number 3 has in store!
The first one is the best BY FAR. But I’m excited for the new one to come out
It's the first one for me.
That hide and clap scare might be one of my favorite scares of all time. It’s so simple but effective. To me anyways
Totally!
specially if you are wearing headphones
for me its hands down one of the best jumpscares ever, I freaked out so much when I saw it in cinemas
I only saw it in the commercial and for whatever reason it cracked me up so badly instead of scaring me.
Same it is my fav one too
The way it is shot definitely makes it creepier. I love Ed and Lorraine. I mean, Vera Farmiga is the horror queen! But the scariest part of this movie is definitely that final montage with the photographs of the real people.
Why do the credits have to be so creepy 😳
@@nicsandnacs you want to react to horror movies? Okay then. Here's some horror movies but be warned you asked for this😈😈😈😈😈

30 Days Of Night (2007)
The Mist (2007)
@@jesselester9722 and Sinister
I mean I like Vera and she's solid in these movies but I don't know how that approaches "horror queen" in any way.
@@xavvi probably because she's also the lead in bates motel
GURL! When I tell you part 2 is THE ONE!! You better get into it, after you’ve recovered from this one LMFAOOOOO
Girl, these movies turned me out! I can never watch them on my own😩 BTW I love your commentaries boo🥰
Haha once I’ve gathered myself and watched some Disney and 00s teen movies I’ll be reset and ready 😂
I love that y'all know who eachother are I love you both 😭
@@nicsandnacs The king ZZAVID watch the Hell House film recently, if you watch it you'll probably hate the Conjuring films less. The Hell House movies are really scary, i only watch them one time each, like you, with my back against the pillows and a safe wall behind.
Yes!! The Conjuring 2 is so good!!! plus w/ Annabelle: Creation & Annabelle Comes Home ( BUT I guess if you want to understand the Annabelle sequels you have to watch the first Annabelle )
Plus the Insidious franchise ........... maybe ??
I enjoy watching reactors watch horror movies. Its better than watching them myself and afterward not wanting to sleep with my back to the closet or not wanting to close my eyes when I shampoo in the shower.
Haha glad I could help 😂
I usually watch people like FoundFlix or Dead Meat, to limit the amount of jumpscares but still enjoying the art and plot, so I could at least understand references.
Hmm is this a form a fear therapy at this point Lml same with gaming for me 😂😂
Nah man i feel like if i look away from the closet something is gonna come out and watch me. I have to stare the fuck outta that closet so nothing sneaks up on me
I love these reactions but I also feel bad when I see how scared she gets.
Lmao
Haha don’t feel bad... I do it to myself 😂
Sameeeee, her reactions are hilarious, but I feel so bad for laughing bc she really gets scared 😭
I didn't.. Then i watched and wondered how many calories you lost watching this.. it was like a full body workout... Lol
It is scary enough to pause mid-video and wait to watch the next day in the afternoon under the sun...and right at a gross horrifying moment.
The best thing besides the scares to THESE movies (the spin offs, only Annabelle Creation is good) the best thing is the chemistry of Ed and Lorraine, those two are the most likeable and best couple and to root for in horror movies.
Agreed on all points! "Annabelle: Creation" is also my favorite of the spin-offs.
I kinda wish we got the real depiction of their marriage as they were supposed to be based on real people, it would bring much more depth into the movie than this overly sugary couple.
@@fumetsushinju The only real problem with Annabelle Creation is that it's basically required to end by linking into the original, rather than having a solid ending in its own right. It's the same problem as Ouija: Origin of Evil, where a good director came in to do a prequel to a bad movie and surpassed it, but still had to lead into the first one, which is best skipped.
Annabelle comes home was really good
Annabelle comes home is good tho
Here's the thing about this film: it uses every recognizable trope of modern horror films - creaky doors, posession, jump scares, etc.
But in the hands of a capable director like James Wan, it uses them EFFECTIVELY to build tension that ratchets up and up and up - along with good character development, getting to know Ed and Lorraine Warren, getting to the Perron family, so the more time spent with the human characters the more you care about them and are terrified for them.
And thats the secret behind god horror: good character focus leads to effective horror, even if the uses of the tropes is all over it.
Eh, I wouldn't exactly call this movie or anything within the Conjuring Universe for that matter "god horror". It lacks a deeper meaning, a subtext to make it really terrifying. Something that movies like Relic, Suspiria (the remake), The Witch, etc. do to perfection.
@@nikolaiquack8548 this movie is one of the best horror movies ever stop hating
@@itzbp9949 I'm not hating, I have legitimate criticisms. Why don't you go straw man someone else's opinion?
@@nikolaiquack8548 well that's what you were doing when you decided to reply to this guys opinion you wouldn't let him have his opinion so you replied with this
I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!! From Wang movies I thing this one is the best. I love that there is so little effects and they go by more realistic things that frightens us, we all have been scared of that figure in the corner that we don't know if its real or just our imagination.
Ed and Lorraine were real people and you can actually go to the house where they kept all the relics. It’s all still there and they turned it into a museum.
@sunbro of astora Yeah. Especially in case of the "Conjuring 2". Biggest BS movie ever. It´s not scary and the real case of the "Enfield Poltergeist" is way more interesting.
The only thing Ed Warren was interested in was the money he could possibly made from it.
And they were pretty trash people as well. The fact that ED had underage mistress and Lorraine was fully ok with the abuse only makes it worse. Like one thing is being fake exorcists to sell some books and make a living out of it - especially when they clearly were entertaining performers, other thing is grooming a girl. Kinda wish that Lorraine didn't have input in the series, so we could actually see the dirty reality and not this overly happy couple that never existed.
Lorraine is still alive I think
@@mimi_j she passed away in 2019.
@sunbro of astora LOLOLOLOL... Precisely!
The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It (3rd film) is coming out in June. 😁
Yas!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m nervous since it’s the only one of the 3 not directed by James Wan, but still excited!
@Gerald Scott Reviews are pretty positive so far! Fingers crossed
I watched it yesterday it was so good!
Wasn't directed by Wan, was mediocre
lol that clap scene scares the shit out of me while my friend just laughed his ass off but that scene after scared him and I was the one who laughed haha!
A quick list
jeepers Creepers
Sinister
The Strangers
Annihilation (is Sci Fi Horror)
Paranormal Activity
The Crazies
The Blair Witch Project
Dr Sleep
Don’t Breathe
The Entity? That's an underrated classic horror.
The first Paranormal Activity, and Blair Witch are fantastically creepy.
Oooooh I'd love to see her watch annihilation. 2 scenes in particular.
@@billbill3915 She already saw Annihilation. I'd like her to see: Coherence, Crocodile Dundee, The Dressmaker, Three O'Clock High, Yesterday
The Strangers is so good!
I forgot how much I loved the camerawork in this film
It’s so good!
I am very, VERY impressed you didn't break into Taylor Swift with the "look what she made me do!" Scene. It took all my self control not to hahaha
that song's really changed that bit in the movie forever now
That song ALWAYS plays in my head when I think about that scene 😂😂
When she was saying “Do not go in there!” over and over again I was expecting an Ace Ventura clip, too.
The Conjuring movies are great, the 2nd one is even better imo!
Can’t wait to see conjuring 3
@sunbro of astora annabelle creation is great. Not compared to the conjuring films, but a step up from the rest of the spin-offs
@sunbro of astora I still haven’t seen the second ouija film because I hated the first so much haha. I will have to check it out. Also, I love insidious. First is the best per usual
@sunbro of astora ouija movies aren't part of the conjuring universe i don't know where you got that from
@@connerzz8202 The second is way better than the 1st
Dylan watching this movie: laughing
you watching this movie: having a stroke
But then Dylan also almost shit himself watching Paranormal Activity
Nothing wrong with a cliché so long as you do it right and The Conjuring proves that
The thing about this movie is, we've seen every scare in it done to some variant, and yet the entire thing is still somehow terrifying.
James Wan was so perfect directing The Conjuring.
Rory is actually a good spirit and he was trying to help, he kept April and Cindy safe throughout the movie
Can you explain more
@@jaliyahnoel9479 I don’t really know how to explain it to you. He was a victim, his mom got possessed by the witch and made her kill Rory
If you ever have the time I'd love to see your reaction to The Haunting of Hill House Netflix show and it's sequel Bly Manor. Both are really good.
Bly Manor is not a sequel, it's another show in the same universe with the same actors but completely different story/characters
@@twdclementine11 You're right of course. I should have said second season. Thanks for clarifying.
The real Conjuring house is still standing, And you can actually visit and sleep 😴 overnight!!
This movie was great. One of the few genuinely scary movies, especially the lady in the attic. Very creepy.
And then the scene with the cop getting his face bit by Lili Taylor. It was hilarious 😂 and took me out of the movie. But Lili Taylor acted the hell out of this movie. She’s amazing.
MOMENT TO APPRECIATE HER BEAUTIFUL HAIR. 😭❤️(Yes I will comment this in every video)
💙💙💙
Nice trivia: the keyboard song near the end of the movie when they install the gear was played by Ryan Gosling and his band, Dead Man's Bones.
another nice trivia: in 15:18 you can actually see the real lorraine warren in the movie. it's just behind by the reaction cam
Omgg yesss, time to relive the trauma this movie caused me
“It’s such a good shot, but I hate it” should’ve been the tagline for this movie. 😂
The Conjuring 2 is even better, please react😍
Evil Dead (2013) and Sinister (2012) are great as well, highly recommended
the clap scene with the match going out is among my favourite horror movie moments of all time!
also the pacing of this movie is damn near PERFECT! I saw it at a midnight viewing when it came out and was terrified the entire walk home xD
I caught this one in theaters when I was still in college. A friend of mine drove me home afterwards and we sat outside my place for several minutes noticing how ominous my place looked. She ended up allowing me to crash at her place since we both didn't want to sleep alone that night from how creeped out we were from the movie 😅
A suggested chronological order to view “The Conjouring” film series:
The Nun (2018)
Annabelle: Creation (2017)
Annabelle (2014)
Annabelle Comes Home (2019)
The Conjuring (2013)
The Curse of La Llorona (2019)
The Conjouring 2 (2016)
I'll keep recommending you to watch:
Little Monsters starring Lupita Nyong'o
!
“Its not f*cking safe” 😭😭🤣🤣💀. I literally love this channel
29:11 this part actually means something.. The music from the box stopped and Rory didn't show up in it, so that means that Rory is now at peace.
ok but lowkey....leaving your feet uncovered can sometimes feel nice if you're feeling overheated while trying to get to sleep haha
This movie is scary as heck! But you love the adrenaline it sends and you’ll want to watch the next ones!
You NEED to watch The Thing. Basing off of your reaction Alien it might gross you out, but it's totally worth it because it's so good (and also makes you think).
EDIT: To avoid confusion: I'm referring to the 1982 version by John Carpenter, but the original from the 50s is very good as well.
seconded
the original first
Do not watch the remake. lol
@@Shythalia it's a prequel actually - and it was only destroyed by cgi put on actual real effects
@@mjm3091 Ohh, a prequel.
Yeah, they really wanted to use practical effects but they weren't allowed to because "c'Mon, eVeRybOdY uSeS cG nOwAdAyS. pRacTiCaL pRoPs aRe sO oLd sChOoL."
This is still the best horror movie that James Wan ever created
I have to disagree because of saw 1
@@copolar nah I've seen all saw movies and to me personally it's different kind of horror, for saw series it's more like "omg ew and wtf moments" but conjuring 1 more of like jumpscare and makes u curious what's in the dark kind of thing scare, so it's a matter of preference some ppl don't believe in ghost nor religion and some ppl more scared of what human is capable of
@@CreganStark123 To me its not about which one is scarier, to me saw has a more interesting story in general, James Wan made literally wonders with the low budget they had, and the twist at the end is one of the best, most unexpected twists in a horror movie
@@copolar then it's still a personal preference then because I've seen both as well
@@CreganStark123 yeah its personal preference, thats why I said "To me" and not "objectively"
The 2nd Conjuring is the best. You definitely should watch it 👌🏻
The hide and clap is hands down the most perfectly crafted and executed jumscare ever no question
Yes! I love this movie! This is the film that really got me into horror, because even though it has every classic horror trope in existence, it still manages to avert expectations and build that adrenaline pumping suspense.
Edit: Your random arm flailing is adorable lol
Once you've seen buzzfeed unsolved about Annabelle and you know how she actually looks like 😂 you can't be afraid of her
No she still creepy. Raggedy Ann dolls always gave me the creeps
I love your reactions/commentary! I would love to see you react to some of Scorsese’s films like Goodfellas and Taxi Driver. As well as Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy and The Prestige. All great films. The prestige is an underrated great of Nolan.
"this movie is going to break me... I think this movie is going to break me.."
Me: you haven't even met THE NUN YET
This movie was directed by James Wan who is known for his horror work and most recently with Aquaman and Fast and Furious 7
You NEED to watch The Babadook!
Also Insidious
The Second one is great too.
The jump scares in this movie really got me so I feel your pain 😂
That double clap in the dark basement was so good, they gave it away as the money shot in the first trailer and it didn't diminish its effectiveness at all in the actual film.
definitely recommend the babadook as well, definitely a different level of horror than the conjuring (more in line with something like Hereditary) so don't expect lots of jumps etc necessarily, lots of the horror comes from the trauma which is sometimes even worse
Babadook would be perfect in June as he is a gay icon.
that movie traumatized me as a kid.
Yeeessssss omg!! Conjuring 1&2 are my favorite supernatural horror movies!!
MAMA and crimson peak by Guillermo del toro please!!!! And the babadook
If you ever get to the movie “Sinister”... I’d love the reaction and it’s a great horror movie but I’d feel so so bad for you
You Should Watch Jurassic Park Next When You Have The Chance To React To It, Like All The Way From Jurassic Park To Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom
14:04, Jumpscare!!😱 Your reaction, you looked like you were shaking a mile a minute! Lol!
Read the Trilogy, House of Darkness House of Light by Andrea Perron, the eldest Daughter in the Perron Family. The Conjuring was based on Lorraine Warren's, case files. The true story of what transpired, to the Perrons, is in production. First script being written now.
You have the BEST commentaries!! I love when you do horror! 😂
I just watched the conjuring and I never got scared
Now you just need to watch the rest of the Conjuring Universe :D
Petition for you to react to The Haunting of Hill House after Euphoria!!!
Love your horror reactions. So much fun. You definitely should check out Conjuring 2, it’s even better than the first film, in my opinion.
Hide and Clap ruined me forever! I will never forget how high I jumped the first time I watched this.
I love how she really pay attention in every details of the movie because that’s also how perfectionist I am HAHA
Modern horror classic!
"A Quiet Place" reaction from you would be amazing to watch 😂😂😂
Yessss and I can’t wait for the second one
Im the most early ive ever been :) i live for ur reaction videos and the colorful hair ❤️❤️
I like The Conjuring. Good choice. 👍
The part where the zombie demon lady person was on top of the wardrobe might have been the scariest part in my opinion. The movie was amazing.
The Exorcist is a different beast. Saw it when I was 12. 18 years later and I'm still terrified. Even typing the movie title makes me uncomfortable
I literally LOL’ed when you put the “RUN” theme in!
Freakin great!
Can you please react to Thir13en ghosts 2001, it’s about a family that inherits a spectacular old house from an eccentric uncle. But there's just one problem: the house has a dangerous agenda all its own. Trapped in their new home by strangely shifting walls, the family encounters powerful and vengeful entities that threaten to annihilate.
Seriously great choice!
One of my faves !!!
I honestly don't think the Conjuring is as good as people say, sure, it's entertaining and it has a couple of good scares, but it is stereotypical, full of clichés and not very innovative 🤷♂️
Hey, everyone!
Let’s play Hide&Clap.
"in denial that sadie died" SAME
One of my favourite modern horror movies. Kind of "classic" already. Thanks for withstanding it! ) Please, reset and do 2nd part! ))
Not sure if this is the most requested, but I think you should give As Above, So Below a shot. It’s great.
I’m sorry. But I’ve never laughed so hard at a reaction in my life. You’re a classic mate. Love it.
Haha glad you enjoyed the video ☺️
Love me some well made, suspenseful horror films 😲
Don’t care for the spinoffs as only Annabelle: Creation is good, but PLEASE give us Conjuring 2. It’s even better than the first!
The Austin Powers jump scare was legit.
I think you'd enjoy the first Saw film.
It was directed by Wan and Leigh Whannell and was the one least concerned with the traps.
Someday I hope you'll also watch Detention, which is very awesome! It's a referential horror comedy a bit like Scream and it's a lot of fun.
Aw, bless you for getting through that. Looking forward to you doing the sequel haha. I must say thought despite all the suffering you were experiencing, you were on point with the references haha
Conjuring 3 is also here so you can watch that too, bruh I watched 5 horror movies in a day why are you so scared lol and conjuring 3 was a part of it I also watched the nun, Annabelle 1,2 and Anabelle comes home
Yess the Conjuring movies are one of my favourite horror movie's ever I love the story and the suspenseful moments I'm so glad you've watched this thankyou😊💙
I watched this movie just soon could see your reaction.
I’m definitely going to watch all in the universe.
Great videos 🤟
As always suggestion:
VALLEY GIRL 1983 with Nick, not Nicolas, Cage-1st lead role.
This was my favorite in the franchise and I'm very much looking forward to the new one coming soon. I find if you watch these you really build up that attachment to ed and Lorraine warren especially because they're played so well by Patrick Wilson and vera farmiga. That along with the cinematography gets me through the scare factor of these films. Its all about the story and how its told for me and these films are just so well done.
OMG I love that you know Ghostfacers!
Hey I'm the same. The last scary movie I watched was The Exorcism of Emily Rose and it traumatized me. But I just watched this yesterday (during day time and with my dog) and I prayed before watching it and I actually really loved it. Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson are my faves so they were the reasons why I watched. Amazing cinematography and camera movements. I didn't even know James Wan directed this! During the jump scares I'd curse, so I think that's a good stress reliever hahaha! I liked it so much that I plan on watching all the movies in the series. But not right away hahaha! Maybe in another 6 months lol
Who would want her to totally play Resident Evil Village?
See, you may HATE these kinds of movies, but when they're well made (as this one), you'll remember them for the rest of your life. They make you live. You feel terrorised, but in a safe environment. Kind of like a roller-coaster. I used to hate horror flicks too (because I found them dumb and lacking of substance). But then I saw THIS one, and now I enjoy a good scare... :)
Easily one of my favourite horror movies!
The conjuring 1 is the best, then i would put the conjuring 2 and thenAnnabel: creation.
Annabel 1 has a few good scenes, part 3 is just all set up and zero pay off.
The Nun has one good scene, that is sort of wasted, the rest is straight up thrash and i was so disapointed because i was looking forward to the movie after conjuring 2.
The curse of llayrona is boring paint by Numbers horror…….
Looking forward to conjuring 3 :)
This film is already a classic
The dog BEEN KNEW and no one listened.
Yaaassss! Ghost Ghostfacerrrssss 🙌🤣
I’ll make a supernatural reference wherever possible 😂
The Conjuring 2 is my favorite. Just saying...maybe check it out 🤷🏾♀️ lol
I am waiting for the next reaction to a movie of this universe already.
The Conjuring 1&2 are far superior to any other in the franchise imo. And the fact that those two are the only ones directed by James Wan says it all. The others just feel like cheap cash grabs. Either way I hope you have fun watching whichever ones you decide to watch! Glad you could at least appreciate the fantastic film making for this one! 😁
By "based on a true story" it means that it's based on accounts of scam artists from the past, not like "it happened in reality".
Yeah and god Jesus the devil and hell are too but yet morons still believe in all that fake stupid crap
15:18 even though she's blocked out by your picture, that's the real Lorraine Warren in the movie.
