Aeropress used to be pretty popular at local shops, they don't push it anymore though. Think they stopped because it took them too much time. Have you heard of the "Clover" it was the legitimate best cup of regular-coffee you could make but they got bought out. The machine itself was thousands of dollars but each cup was perfect. Got my Legato set-up a couple of days ago and so far not exactly like a good coffeeshop espresso but working on it. thinking about using distilled water only instead of tap, that might be the reason.
That's awesome!! No I haven't heard of that machine but I will look it up, I'm curious now. Thanks for that. I do not recommend putting straight distilled water in your machine it's not good for it. It can wear out seals in your machine. You can use distilled water if you add a packet of water treatment like third wave water. What you do is put one packet to a gal. Of water. Look them up. Also what I fo is go to like the grocery store where they have one of those reverse osmosis water machines that refill 5 gal . Jugs. Reverse osmosis water is the best to use on your machine . If you go the third wave water route they have packets for espresso medium roast and ones for you espresso machines. I would use one of those two methods. But not distilled water alone. If you have NY questions please hit me up and I will try and help.
I wouldn't put straight tap water in your machine anymore my friend I just read that part again. It will build scale up in your machine. But if you use treated water by third wave or reverse osmosis you will be just fine. I bet that's alot of the issues
@@carrscoffee here is more on the Clover. Interesting machine. best cup of regular coffee that was probably ever made. Starbucks CEO said the same so he bought the whole company but it got too expensive for Starbucks to make it work on a large scale (really made for small stores that can devote 10minutes per customer). Some people still have em, check around where you live but its really a pricey cup of coffee ($5?? single cup) but worth it to try at least....ruclips.net/video/ntbVGGMu_Ac/видео.html
Great thanks I'm gonna look at it right now
