Fun idea: set TTS output as the mic that controls it and have a mascot read the TTS. You could even have it pop up only when the TTS happens by integrating with lioranboard or streamerbot
Nice one @kiggu. Literally the idea I was about to write. It would look so good and increase the incentive for people to use the TTS. You could even set different twitch triggers for different characters with different voices.
@@SnappyScience We are on the same wavelength! It would also be fun to have a randomized character option. My first thought is to code it so that it generates a random number then executes a different set of commands based on that number to randomize which character shows up on the screen.
@@TopHatFellows I think this would be a perfect video for @Andilippi to make next! He probably has a better method than I'm about to suggest, for now this is how I would do it. First step is separating the audio from the rest of your PC audio so it only opens it's mouth when the TTS is speaking and not when you talk, or when your game audio or BGM is playing. Since I use Voicemeeter as my virtual mixer I would set the TTS output to a virtual audio cable and output it on B2 (or B3 with Voicemeeter Potato if you already have B2 set up for discord or something else). Then in OBS use the TTS output you made with the method shown in this video to make it open and close it's mouth. I'm still thinking about the making it pop up only when TTS happens part, if anyone has suggestions I'd love to hear them. Again, this probably isn't the best way, I'm sure there's a much cleaner solution that doesn't involve Voicemeeter to separate audio.
@@itskiggu voicemeeter is great for that use. Really thinking off the top of my head but the animation part could potentially be a nested scene that only activates with a trigger and using a move transition it would slide up from the bottom. Would really need to test this idea but, don't take it as word. Lioranboard could likely do it.
dude thank you so much, i wanted to find an easy way to make a visualiser and have something for people to look at when i'm talking without having to do facecam. and this was exactly what i wanted so thanks!
Goated! Strange how almost no one talks about this in the pngtuber circles. there it's usually through discord or veadotube mini. but both can be fairly taxing. This is so much simpler for a beginner. Cheers big dog!
Omg you may have just ONCE AGAIN solved a problem I've been grappling with for a long time! I've wanted to make my acoustic drums "play" elements of my overlays (tbd). So ofc I'm not gonna run my drum stems in from daw and mix in OBS, but I can make a bunch of reastreams on the different drum stems\tracks, into OBS (muted channels ofc or just output disabled) and then I can go to town! Thanks!!! Now to design the animated layers :)
Tip for those wanting better animated pictures for smoother movments.. for your image files the more steps the smoother the animation is but you'll need to adjust the easing and threshold to where you need them for as animated as you want it to be
This method seems great for memes and such but there's better pngtuber apps out there that have additional features like blinking and additional states of emotion (happy, sad, excited, etc)
