Best review out there! I am thinking of getting the same model (foot shift) because it seems like the reverse mechanism is a pain on the ES. I will be plowing with it so a quick reverse is a must. Thanks for the review!

That has some nice long travel shocks on it and long travel swing arms. Honda is the best in my opinion. My friend use to have Honda four wheelers you remind me so much of him. I never saw one with speedometer before. Thanks for taking us for ride that was cool.

I had the exact same one, it went through a lot including towing heavy loads and basically stunt riding 😂 It’s still going good it’s only ever done 2 bearings, back Guards broke because weight of the mud and bumps also the gear lever went loose

Those new Foreman`s are nice, but I don`t like the electronic gauge package on it as much as on my 2012. All of us Honda guys have been complaining about Honda not keeping up with the competition. Looks like Honda has been listening. They have redone the Rancher, Foreman and now the Rubicon. Looks like they're working their way up the line. I'm interested to see what they do with the Rincon. The new (2015) Rubicon has IRS, EFI, and Diff-lock, along with some other options it had before like A/T & P/S.

I have the same machine but 2015 electric shift. It's a great machine, does everything I need. The reason I opted for the electric shift as I find it difficult to get my foot under the shift lever with my MX boots on. I so have plans to add a 12 inch Nilight LED to mine and wire it into the high beam switch.

I have a 2013 500 foreman plain jane foot shift didnt ever have problems with the totally manually shift EVER so stuck with it I really wish honda would make rear disk brakes and an extra 6th gear a STANDARD feature like they FINALLY did the front differential lock and push button FWD oh and make the cargo box lids sturdier like they did in the 80s-90s! love your post!

That's a real sweet ride you have there. I like the colour a lot. I got a 2013 yamaha grizzly 450 myself. Iv always been a honda and yamaha man myself. I would never buy anything else. No doubt other company's make great machines too but stick to what ya know and it won't let ya down. Keep the vids comming.

I own the exact same atv except that it have a power stering which help on long ride in the trail
Did you know you can start it in gear by holding the brake on the right. If you are in gear just pull the right brake and hit the start button

Hi Ken.I was noticing that your cargo bag was sliding down through the bars on your rack;and mightl scuff up the new plastic.And have you tried to start the bike with the recoil starter?If you lose battery power,will the electronic fuel injection and fuel pump operate?If not,then a recoil starter would only be effective if the electric starter itself failed.
JBodine67 Yes I Have Tried The Recoil Starter It Works Great If The Battery Is Dead It Will Send Power Though The Alternator To Help Charge ? Operate The Electric Fuel Pump That Is What Honda Told Me If that Were The Case There Would Be No Need For A Recoil Starter Cheers Buddy

Hey buddy I have Manual shift With my foot it is an Automatic Clutch just shift it and Go it is called a manual shift Automatic clutch they have been out I know since early 80's on 4 wheelers / 3 wheelers
I Just bought a 2016 Rubicon ES PS IRS . Suppose to deliver it in a few hours. I have a 2016 Polaris ranger xp 900. The ranger is too big getting in and out of the woods. Hows yours holding up Kenneth .

I like The Foreman New style 14 or newer The Rancher and Foreman are same Size Chassis and Body I'm a Rancher man But That is the reason why I got the Foreman Great choice

Hi Joseph The Solid Rear Axle Is A Tough Proven Design That Has Been Around Forever I Remember Riding Honda's Back In The 1980's 4x4 Fourtrax With Solid Front And Rear Axles The New Independent Rear On Honda's May Ride Better ! I Think The Ride Quality Is About The Same I Have No Complaints On My End With The Solid Rear Axle That Is One Of The Main Reasons I Bought It Less Moving Parts = Tough Reliability And Longevity You Have Your Sport ATV's With Solid Rear Axles And Your And Your Utility With IRS Or Like My Foreman Is Just An All Around Work Horse Great For Everything Buddy
