Heavy Lifting is the song of the year
I just discovered Palm and I have been listening to Heavy Lifting non-stop for the last few days.
the energy at the end of the song is INSANE
Same place Don Cab played in 99. So jealous
I will be skipping Gorillaz and go see Palm instead at Roskilde Festival this July. Can't wait!
fuuuuckkkk i didnt know
HEAVY LIFTING IS SUCH A MF BANGER, it's amazing how the jammy part got stuck in my mind and I try to dance everytime I hear it
i was at this show and it was great .
19:21 There's a bit of me that feels like Kasra uses that part of the song to see how long he can do that for.
19:42 I always gotta close my eyes when that part of the song plays
what a great crowd

Pearly is one the catchiest songs I've ever heard, love it
I can watch Eve play the course of Color Code for the rest of my life
The switch from 3/4 to 7/4 is absolutely insane in Heavy Lifting. This band is so fucking talented.
i love the change from 3/4 to 4/4 before the second build up, they make 4/4 sound like an odd time signature
Man, to see how far they've come from the first show of this tour to now is really something
theyre getting better and better
This is a fantastic session! The acoustics are really rich in this F.U. Church. thanks for the upload.
Hell yeah! It's back!
This is a great performance, I can't wait to hear the studio version of Watch and the other new one they played at Audiotree Festival.
+_Slack_ What's the other new one like? I hadn't heard of it until now.
21:36
This band is so good
musical genius
8:06 Eve
ITS BACK
21:36 is actually called Village! i have the setlist from their show in atl with red sea :)
You are beyond lucky man. Red sea and palm? Best combination to see live imo.
i hope it isn't because then its not on nicks and grazes:( hopefully that too was a working title
I know these guys don't consider them math rock, but I view them from that sort of perspective. I've described the difference between two other math rock bands, and I'll often use mathematic metaphors to describe them. CHON is like a beautiful fractal, made by a high powered super computer. Tera Melos is the frantic scribblings of a mad genius. Sleepy Dog is an almost nostalgic sheet of algebra homework.
This band, though, is like a mathematician beating an equation within an inch of it's life, forgoing any typical structural mandates and just doing what they need to do to get the message across. I love this.
Would highly recommend fans of this band check out the band Guerilla Toss if you're not familiar.
How high were you when you made this comment tho
I thought the fact that palm read obama's book was cringe, then I read your comment
It's cool but I miss their noisy stuff
fucking sick
how do his glasses not fall off
Probably bent to fit tight
superglue
I didn't know churches accepted hosting concerts
