It's very interesting that kpop has actually changed since this video was released. BTS, Twice, Blackpink and Red Velvet have gained way more attention over the past 2-3 years. It's just cool to think about how some of today's most popular groups weren't in the spotlight less than five years ago (some had not even debuted). It actually makes me quite proud as an ARMY and ReVeluv.
maybe it's because I am already a kpop fan for a while when i saw got7's Just Right but I immediately got the meaning behind it without the subs...it's such a powerful theme and it's really saddening that a lot of people don't see it.

SM hasn't been promoting them as much as they used to even though SJ has been working hard under them for 10 years and accumulates the most income/revenue for them (Yes, more than SNSD and EXO). They know they'll have a steady and growing income because us ELFs will forever support our boys and it sickens me how much SM takes advantage of that to neglect them. I'm just curious. What source do you refer to when you said Super Junior generates more income than GG or Exo? If based on Forbes Korea, GG has been topping the list of "Power Celebrity 40"(which include sales, revenues, income & ofc it is also affected by other factors as well) in Top 10 since 2010, followed by Bigbang (except in 2011 probably because of GD & Daesung scandal). While, Super Junior only got listed in 2013 list just barely at no. 10. Even 2014 Top 10 list, Exo already outdid Super Junior and that as of first half of 2015, Exo is at no.1 spot. hmm...

When Ned mention Super Junior at the end, I almosted cried a little. SM hasn't been promoting them as much as they used to even though SJ has been working hard under them for 10 years and accumulates the most income/revenue for them (Yes, more than SNSD and EXO). They know they'll have a steady and growing income because us ELFs will forever support our boys and it sickens me how much SM takes advantage of that to neglect them. I'm so glad Ned mentioned them even though he said he knew nothing about KPOP. :')

I'm just curious. What source do you refer to when you said Super Junior generates more income than GG or Exo? If based on Forbes Korea, GG has been topping the list of "Power Celebrity 40"(which include sales, revenues, income & ofc it is also affected by other factors as well) in Top 10 since 2010, followed by Bigbang (except in 2011 probably because of GD & Daesung scandal). While, Super Junior only got listed in 2013 list just barely at no. 10. Even 2014 Top 10 list, Exo already outdid Super Junior and that as of first half of 2015, Exo is at no.1 spot. hmm...
***** Thank you for replying for me. I was at work. Yes, I agree with your points. Not to mention, Super Junior earns the most revenue through international tours. Their fan base is mostly outside of Korea. I read somewhere, I'm not sure of the source but I think it was allKpop, that stated that in 2015, Super Junior was the third leading group after DBSK/TVSQ and Boa that earns the most overall revenue for SM. SNSD and EXO's fan base is mostly in Asia where as Super Junior is more international that includes Europe, Australia, and NA.

It stated that it was based on Forbes Korea, but then the list was never released in official Forbes Korea site. The only list released by Forbes Korea is the Top 10 Celebrities of 2014: www.forbes.com/sites/forbesasia/2014/04/11/forbes-koreas-top-10-celebrities-2014/, and all the buzz & news about the 1st half of 2014 list was actually originated by a claim from China publication/site. Also, I do know that Forbes Korea also includes other factors as well (hence the mentioning of it in my previous comment). It's just that it is hard to actually find official reliable source that just mentioning only about income/revenue though.

But even that stated they got their resources based from China Times claim. Kind of questionable that China publication got the news earlier than Korea publication though.
